OK. I'm bored, and I need a good laugh. So what's the funniest movie you ever watched? I like movies like Guardians of the galaxy and Groundhog day. Any suggestions?

I've never seen Groundhog Day but the funniest movei I ever saw was Richard Pryor's Some Kind of Hero. My wife & I had just eaten at a Chinese restaurant. I laughed so hard I almost threw up.

My first thoughts went to two Mel Brooks movies during the 70's...'Young Frankenstein,' 'Blazing Saddles,' etc. An old one that was hilarious, IMO, was 'It's A Mad, Mad... (infinite) World.' I also remember 'Guide For The Married Man,' and 'Brother's In Law,' the original, with Peter Falk and Alan Arkin.

There are many more.

You never saw Groundhog Day!?! It was probably one of the top ten funniest movies of all time. It stars Bill Murray. He's a reporter, covering the groundhog day ceremony in some northeastern city. He gets snowed in, then starts living the same day, over and over and over again. You can watch it online for free. Do it now!

I know about the plot. I may watch it. Last night, my wife & I watched The Facts of LIfe with Bob Hope and Luciile Ball, two greats. Clever & cute.

After reviewing in my mind, here's a few more that had me laughing hard...Dr. Strangelove...Raising Arizona...Planes, Trains & Automobiles...Fish Called Wanda...Support Your Local Sheriff...The Jerk...Caddy Shack...Monty Python & The Holy Grail...and another Mel Brooks classic...History Of The World, Part I. I like comedy.

I wouldn't trust someone, who didn't have a sense of humor.
