Hello all. I am a medically retired Marine SSgt raised in MO, based most of my adult life in the Carolinas and now homesteading a small piece of land back in Missouri again. I am politically independent with an inquisitive nature and no patience for partisanship or closed minds.

Simply put...a stand-up kind of guy. :thumbup: Funk & Wagnalls: 1) strong and brawny; robust 2) resolute, determined, unwavering 3) brave,courageous. Though all three are listed and close in meaning...I was referring to #2, primarily :!:

I did not Google this one, Rufus. I gave you my intentional meaning with my first...'stand-up kind'a guy.' Then, I looked into my desk dictionary to provide the rest. I do admit to referring Google, on occasion, myself. :wink:

I still use my dictionary often, especially when reading my study Bible each morning in the library. Of course you know the library I am referring to. I even have a TV tray in there. Yep, coffee, cigs, The Bible and my quiet time with the Lord. I love it. I enjoy the break of day and have for as long as I can remember. It is my favorite time of day. I admit, I would be in trouble if I did not start my day like this.
