Proactive and not reactive

It's better to be proactive and not reactive. Being proactive saves you money but being reactive cost you money. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Applying God's word to your life makes you consider the consequences of your actions before you act. For example let's consider adultery; God came to this planet and wrote with his finger in stone, "Do not commit adultery". When you meet a person you should find out if they are married before you have sex. It won't help to read Exodus 20:14, (don't sleep with anyone who is married), after you are pregnant with a married man's child. It is easier not to drive after you have had a beer than to fix your life after being charged with driving under the influence. GodÂ’s word is a shield. A shield is useless if it is on the ground when the arrow is fired.
