True - universities are full of l*****t "profs". I use the quotation marks because very few of them are competent about anything reality based and some are damned dangerous in their ideas, thinking, and teaching. But those people are not liberals,not in my view.......I remember some real liberals, like Senator Patrick Moynihan, a good and an intelligent man whom the democrats of today would probably despise. Nope, too "profs of today are socialist progressives in some cases, c*******t in some cases, and I would wager Muslim jihadists in a few cases. If I had kids of university age today, I'd find a way to get them educated without being subjected to the crap that goes on at universities today. Ditto with kindergarten. The education society is sick, sick, sick. A few decent people slip through the cracks without becoming as sociopathic as their bosses; ditto with students, but it is a challenge to get a real education. What is happening to our educational system is being/has been totally destroyed by l*****ts - DELIBERATELY TO FURTHER THE L*****T DREAM. We desperately need a house cleaning at all major universities, and at a lot of the smaller schools and put a stop to pretend education that produces imbeciles who are clones of their imbecilic "profs".

The real shame is that these so-called "educators" put their liberal agenda above actual "education with no thought to the consequences of their actions. Many teachers and "profs." are no more than a political arm of a liberal/progressive agenda. They should be called "propaganda specialists".

You're wrong again, Marv. You have a problem with identifying conservative individuals.
1. There are very few conservative professors in major universities. Academia does not want conservatives.
2. No real conservative would quietly tolerate what goes on or the atmosphere in major universities.
3. Anyone who goes along with the PTB in universities, re all the l*****t crap could not possibly be a conservative. He may have started out conservative, but when he actually DOES the l*****t commands, he has destroyed his title of "conservative".

How many college degrees do you hold Marv and how long ago did you earn the latest one? You talk about me being 30 years behind, but Marv my latest degree was given me in 1958 and I can assure you that I just didn't run into any liberal professors back then. I continued to take summer school classes in history and government till 1983 and never did run into a liberal prof in that period.

The last time I ran into a liberal thinker on a college campus was about 1968 and he was one of those radical student advocates of student control of the college. That very school is turning out good little left leaners in the thousands each year now.

Marv, I have to ask if you are related to the left leaning Sussman woman I quoted some time back. Are you?

My ultra-conservative son went with one of those recent graduates of a left leaning university for several months and they had to agree not to discuss politics, ever. The girl didn't "get that way" in high school but all her friends that Craig "got" to associate with were good little Obama v**ers and lovers and he just barely kept from taking them to task now and then.

I told this elsewhere, but it's worth repeating here. A friend was in college back in the 80's, in Michigan. She had a very liberal professor (not too common back then). The professor would lecture the whole period. For a final, she handed out a blank sheet, and said write an essay on what I've lectured about. Everyone was a bit confused, my friend thought about it and she wrote an essay on "Destroy the belief system of a nation, and you can destroy the nation."

She was the only one who got an A. She also was the only one who did not get her paper back.

How different from the days when the profs taught the classes and enjoyed a god philosophical tussle then. Some could argue either side of the argument trying to get each side to think logically and support their positions well. WTF happened?

I was one of those in high school who tried very hard to argue whichever side was opposite of some kid in order to get more participation from the class. I admired those like you talk about in college and tried very hard to be like them.

Liberals managed to take over education from the top to the bottom is WTF happened.

The socialist learned, teach the teachers to reach the children. That is WHY parents had better be on top of what their kids are being taught. It is getting worse every day, and particularly in some of the more liberal states.
