Masada by drone

I had the pleasure of hiking up to see the ruins of Masada back in the late 1970's. What an experience. Looking down at the Dead Sea from Masada you would swear that you were looking down at the Salton Sea in southern California. This is an exceptional video. :-D

Thanks for the video.:thumbup: I don't plan on visiting the ME anytime soon for the first-hand experience. :roll:

:lol: :lol: I don't blame you Slat. Things were a lot more peaceful back in the days I was traveling on business in the Middle East. :mrgreen:

I sure hope that someday it is not turned to glass with the problems surrounding that area.

What is amazing is how much of it is still there..Couldn't you just feel its history!!

Did you watch the video that followed this one? Where the elite Israeli soldiers climb up and take much the same vow? I am always impressed by how much they support their country and religion.
