Jesus will return like the sun rises in the morning
If you watch a sunrise you will notice something interesting, before the sun gets to the horizon the sky is bright and you can see clearly to the point that you can count the blades of grass and the leaves on a tree. Christ is quoted as saying in Matthew 24:27 that as lightning comes out of the east and shines to the west so shall his return happen. What light shines from east to west? The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Before Jesus began His ministry, John the Baptist came before Him to herald His coming. John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah, even though he was not Elijah. What happened was he was unjustly imprisoned and killed though he committed no crime. In Malachi 3:1 through 5 Elijah has a greater effect. This must mean that John the Baptist was an example of what would happen in the end times. Before Christ returns His word would be taught where it can be understood if a person doesn’t choose to be evil. Satan has as much of a chance of stopping God as we have of stopping the sun from rising.
