Hypocrites
The Greek definition of hypocrite is play actor. When a play was put on the actors were called hypocrites. The word hypocrite didn’t have the baggage that it carries today. The normal definition of hypocrite is someone who pretends to be something that they are not. What is ironic is that it is okay for some people to pretend and bad if others do it, and they may have good intentions but may be misunderstood. Too many people want to be actors. They really aren’t who they pretend to be. Archie Bunker never had a driver’s license. Actors have ceremonies where they walk a red carpet wearing all sorts of strange attire and are the envy of the nation. They receive trophies for how well they pretended to be someone they weren’t in situations that never happened. While others are called hypocrites when they really are who they saw they are. The primary weapon satan uses is character assignation. He has to insult you personally because his logic is weak. If he has to, he will dig up a diaper you soiled as a child and try to use it as proof you don’t have bladder control. He is hoping we won’t realize that we all come into this world as infants and we have all soiled diapers. Or if you didn’t understand the analogy, we are all sinners.
