How to tell if you are teaching truth

Satan has deceived the whole world according to Revelation 12:9. If you think he deceived everyone else but you that is proof of the deception. He deceives me also. Anytime we make emotional decisions without considering the consequence of our actions, we are under satan’s influence. Can we be saved if we follow satanic influences? With men, salvation is impossible according to Matthew 19:26 and Mark 10:27. But the things that are impossible with men are possible with God according to Luke 18:27. If the world has been deceived, and you are teaching truth, some will disagree. But Luke 6:26 says why do we call Jesus Lord if we don’t do what He says? Those who don’t understand the bible will question you like you don’t. They will think they know more than you. The hardest people to teach are those that think they know already.

Yep. This is a good reason to pray for those we are trying to reach. I also like to pray and ask God to give me the words He would have me say when sharing the gospel or just ministering to someone. It is a beautiful thing when the Holy Spirit speaks through us. We can only obey and share the gospel. But of course it is God who saves. I also agree we are under attack much of the time by Satan. I pray often and ask God to protect me and others from the evil one. He honors our prayers and He will protect us. Through the years I have noticed that when praying or worshiping God I rarely am distracted by the devil. That was not always the case. As we grow and learn to pray all the time and study His word daily He gives us strength to focus on Him and not be easily distracted. I am so very grateful for this. The spiritual warfare that is taking place here and in the heavenly realms is probably much bigger than we can fully realize. But God is all powerful and in control and we belong to Him. Amen
