Short story about the neighbor's cat and Bear. The cat is an exceptionally large animal. It was in the back yard when I let Bear out. Bear ran to the fence and barked, the cat stood there - obviously thinking, "Ha, ha you're in a fence I don't have to run." That's when Bear nosed himself under the fence, and the cat took off - pronto.

Cindy came over and we tent pegged the fence down (in that area). A couple of days later, let Bear out - cat was in the yard. The cat is smart, he did not try to tease Bear, instead immediately took off - sadly, Bear found another spot to nose himself under the fence and off he went.

Cindy to going up to Chicago, so poor Bear now goes out on a long leash. It's just a good thing he doesn't jump the fence and he can't climb trees or I'd probably be calling the fire department to come get him down.

A delightful collection of stories. To my knowledge, many of them are true. The one about the mayor especially.
