Fruits of the spirit
When you plant seeds and sprouts come up, no plant bears fruit but if the plant stays rooted it will bear fruit. That is why maturity and development should be taught. Instead of using scripture to Teach Christian development we promote instantaneous results where fruit is produced in a day. This is not realistic. When we take our first steps we fall down. The fall does not discourage us. But by the time that we are eight we expect to be perfect on our first attempt. Again this is not realistic. Athletes and good employees take many years learning their craft. When they first start off mistakes are made but as long as they stay in the same profession they get better. Christian development should be taught. These are some of the personality traits that develop as we mature as a Christian.
· Love – It is easier to pronounce judgment and condemn when you have only heard one side of the story than to withhold an opinion until all the facts come out. Love is not a question, love is the answer. Love doesn’t ask how I can be with some who does X Y, and Z. When asked why be involved with someone who does X Y and Z we answer because we love them.
· Joy – Over time we learn that we shouldn’t take things too seriously. In the end we all die and we become a different person in 10 years. We should do our best to be as efficient as possible. Let the chips fall where they may. All you can do is all you can do. But all you can do is enough. Salvation is not based on popularity or success.
· Peace- As you mature you should be a calming voice of reason. We should have peace in our homes whether we live alone or with 50 people. The man should have the final say because women are emotional. Men use more of their brains. Satan has playing with women’s emotions for thousands of years. It is what it is.
· Longsuffering – This is enduring negative situations, trials, tribulations patiently. Read Acts 14:22 and know God does not save from tribulation but through tribulations. This popcorn, bubble-gum, instant snapshot religion is not the message God wanted to convey.
· Kindness - Honey attracts more creatures than vinegar. You will not amass a large following being negative. Sometimes you have to ignore your personal feelings and play hurt.
· Goodness – Being nice in the face of opposition is not easy and only comes with time. This is a choice. You have to decide that if you cannot say something nice, then you won’t say anything at all.
· Faithfulness – You must be faithful to God’s word. At times it doesn’t seem like it is the best choice but pleasing God will never produce bad results. We will never get to the point where the bible will be obsolete.
· Gentleness – Read the 14th chapter of Romans. Those who are strong should show their strength by patiently enduring those who are not as mature as them. The word of God should be followed and not policed.
· Self Control – We should control our emotions and not let our emotions control us. As a follower of Christ, you will find yourself on the storm tossed seas of life with the winds blowing and seas billowing, but it will seem as if Christ is asleep. He will calm the storm but you should ask yourself where is your faith? Keep a cool head at all times.
It would foolish to even attempt to write a law against these personality traits. If you think before you make an emotional decision, you will have a better life and these personality traits will develop if you stay rooted in the word of God.

Fruits of the spirit br When you plant seeds and ... (show quote)

"That is why maturity and development should be taught." Ridiculous; it is a fruit, a gift, of spirit.

I was ready to respond to each point in kind but you are utterly clueless.
