Because men think they can prosper without God.

Lately, (during my lifetime) the Bible was taken out of the public schools across the nation. then the Bible was placed in the prisons across the nation.

Then Prayer was removed from public occasions. Now Chaplains are not allowed to pray with soldiers on Battlefields.

We cannot remove God from our lives and prosper.

Although I'm not a big adherent of conspiracy theory, I do think this little cartoon sums up pretty well why we have wars. They're extraordinarily profitable for those supplying the military-industrial complex.

1900 to 1999: 262,000,000 citizens murdered by governments.

1900 to 1999: 87,500,000 war dead.

The reasons (causes) for war are many and varied. I doubt that just so "a bunch of low lives can steal, c***t & lie & destroy the REPUBLIC" is anywhere near the top of the list, if it is on the list at all.

I'm well aware the fed gov is owned & controlled by much more powerful people, (N.W.O.). congress is useless & the supreme court twists the Constitution to enact unConstitutional legislation. I know many in this forum put their faith in the Christ. I'm not, by any means trying to insult anyone. what do we do when the forces of this corrupt institution come to ens***e us ?

Nope. We fight them. And we may die, but we don't surrender.

Without researching your numbers, I find it hard to believe WWI produced more overall deaths than WWII, whether they be U.S., allied or military/civilians deaths combined. Can you elaborate by designating how you came about those numbers?

Clearly, the deaths of Jews and others at concentration camps weren't figured into those numbers. :|

Actually, according to most sources the deaths attributed to WWI were well over 38 million people when losses on both sides are totaled. So zillaorange is incorrect in the figures they post.

But you are indeed correct that WWII produced more casualties. Most sources indicate the losses connected to the war were 50 to 80 million lives, including those who died in concentration camps.

Perhaps zillaorange was focusing on only a smaller group or one country rather than on the total devastation either of these wars brought to humanity.

slatten49, the # of deaths are those of U.S. Troops. no civilians, no enemy casualties. As far as ww1 goes, the #'s are so high because the nature of the war were so savage, poison gas, disease from trench warfare, the use of hollow pt. ammo (now forbidden in use in warfare, Geneva Conventiosn & the rudimentary medical treatment at the time) I used wikipeadia a lot. the rest of the material is in my favorites list. if you like I'll dig them out. if you google, yahoo or wh**ever other search engine, look for U. S. troops k**led or injured in all mentioned wars. there are slight differences in the #'s, but the figures are as close as I could get.
