Finding a wife
First let’s read 1 Corinthians 7:27
Are you bound to a wife?
Seek not to be loosed
Are you loosed from a wife?
Seek not a wife
We should establish some goals besides feeling good, having sex, and finding different partners. Satan deceives the whole world. One of his deceptive ideas is that we should have various partners that make us happy, and if they don’t, we should find someone that does; that when we get into our late teens or early twenties we should have many partners until we find the right one. This attitude cannot prepare anyone for the sacrifice, commitment, and dedication it takes to maintain a monogamous relationship. Marriage is going to require sacrifice and dedication. Knowing that society makes it easier to have sex with strangers doesn’t help. We should not be getting together just to have sex. Male or female, we should have higher priorities than orgasms; priorities like educating and feeding our children; as well as doing your best to be a good example of how an adult deals with problems. We should do the best we can to be as good as we can. Don’t look for a mate, it will happen by itself. Sooner or later you will meet that special someone. If you don’t wait for them, you will wish you had when you meet them and you’re married to someone else.
