House Minority Nancy Pelosi lashed out Sunday against Republican-led slashing efforts, claiming there's nothing left to cut in the massive federal budget, which now sits at $3.8 trillion, double it's amount from 12 years ago.
"The cupboard is bare. There's no more cuts to make. It's really important that people understand that," Pelosi said on CNN's State of the Union. "We cannot have cuts just for the sake of cuts."
You are wrong, Pelosi. We have to make cuts for the sake of our nation's stability. Are we to believe that there is nothing to be cut out of the federal government's budget? Are we to believe the government is being completely honest with us? Only a complete fool would believe that.
If they were truly concerned about spending, they could cut the +$100,000 salaries of the 33 czars that Obama claims he needs, cut down on his extravagant vacation trips, or even cut down on the $16 muffins and $7.32 Beef Wellington appetizers served at conferences. The Justice Department spent $73.3 million on conferences in 2009 alone.
We all realize that cutting down on muffin sales won't make up for $1.1 trillion in government spending, but reason.com has compiled a list of 17,679 things the federal government has spent money on since sequestration took place. And I'm certain many cuts could be made.
Carolyn..........this broads tongue will eventually swell up, turn black and fall off, lying is all it knows how to do.......at least I can still dream anyway, but sooner or later they will have a mandate against dreaming, or wait, they already have!!

350,000 for a robotic squirrel to see if a rattle snake will ear it? How much to study why lesbians are obese? 14 billion to i******s from the i.r.s. etc. etc. Palosi is not only lying, she's insulting any American with a functioning brain cell. Everybody makes fun of rednecks, but look what those california booger eaters keep v****g into office!!
When has Pelosi stopped lying? Is she so screwed up that she doesn't know the difference between lies and t***h? Can she out lie the Clintons? None of this is news. It would be news if she ever told the t***h.
I can't stop laughing when she moves her hands around talking about her brilliant President. Two peas in a pod. Both stupid as the is long.

Botox and bourbon makes excellent comedy!
You can't take the Government serious when they tell us we need to make serious cuts then, continue to spend extravagantly.
No one questions their stupidity, because they can't figure it out their self!

carolyn, you really did not have to go to all the trouble of this post to convince us that Pelosi was lying. All you had to do was say you saw her lips moving. That's all the proof I need.

I have a problem with your reference to "California booger eaters." Problem being I didn't think of it first.

The "cupboard is bare"? That depends on what "cupboard" she talking about. There seems to be plenty in the "cupboard" for arming our enemies, plenty for spending on foreign countries, plenty for supporting Congress members. How about paying them just for the days they actually "work"? How about telling Pelosi that she has to drive home and buy her own gas? And that is just the "tip of the iceberg".
Carolyn, let's face it this old hag is a complete insane loser and needs to be put out to pasture, that should have happened years ago, however look what state it's in, that state should have slid into the ocean years ago or give it back to the mexs
The real problem with Pelosi is that she actually believes the liberal Democrat tripe she is constantly opining about. She cannot help it, because the brain eating amoebi finished her brain off years ago and have since moved on to other congressional Femin**is.

That might be a good idea if we were anyone but the U.S., but you know as well as I do that is we did give Califruitti back to Mexico, we would agree to keep them in the U.S. budget anyway. So why even go there if we are going to keep throwing money away on a lost cause? What we should do is let force this state to stand on it's own and either sink or drown. BTW, I believe it would make a very good landfill, with garbage men to run it. After all, isn't that what is running it now?
