Damn amazing shots. I'm surprised he survived. Looks pretty rough out there.

i lived on the shores of lake st. clair as a young lad, which is situated between lakes erie and huron. have fished and duck hunted on all of the great lakes. i have to tell you, i live in n.y. now and have fished in rough seas on the atlantic, BUT the great lakes are scary rough when the winds kick up.the great lakes can be much rougher than the ocean in general.

Collected many an agate at Lake Erie..It is awesome and often because of its size you forget it is a lake and main supplier of water....

I mean just look at your video...Standing on the other side of Canada I also saw my first glimpse of the Northern Lights..I did not know what I was looking at then but found out later talking with the locals..Truly magnificent it is.....

Another great vid, my friend...

Not too many years ago, I visited the north shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. The Sgt. Major and I toured from Duluth all the way to Grand Portage and tried to get west to Ely, but icy roads (in May!) prevented our going there in our RV.. If you think Lake Erie is big, suffice to say Lake Superior is huge. It was like looking out over the oceans or Gulf of Mexico in terms of visuals. Enjoyed our stay along those shores.....ate walleye for the first time, and drank a 'Moose Drool' beer at the Lemon Wolf Inn. :P

Those photos are awesome, and righteously named by the photographer, presumably. I remember well the waves on Lake Superior, and at the time I was there, did not come close to matching those magnificent ones of Lake Erie :!: Impressive.

Know it well....Went there a couple of times..Lake Superior I mean..You want to talk just buckets of agate lying right there in the sand, it was like finding gold....I lived in Minnesota for a year and a half. St. Paul area...My husband was on assignment for Lockheed Martin on a major design plan and on the weekends, that he made longgggggggg weekends out of, we would go and get a hotel and walk for hours collecting them..I got into it so much I bought a tumbler to shine them, lololololool
