Lowering health care cost is the right way to strengthen and preserve MEDICARE and MEDICAID. It's the overall cost of health care for everyone, retirees, working people, employers that burden our Federal, States, Cities and householod budgets. The U.S. health care system is the most expensive in the world and according to the World Health Organization, the U.S. health system ranks 37th out of 191 countries well below FRANCE who is in first place. Americans pay into MEDICARE their entire working lives, and we count on it for our health security, and to protect this vital program, we must bring down cost in the overall system not making harmful cuts to benefits.

In a Hospital that is owned by a corporation, prices are set so that corporate heads get their money- before the payments are made on all the speciality high diagnostic equipment they've bought and use. Then the employees get their pay. If not enough revenue is coming in off of the patients and their insurance, then their cost for treatment goes higher. In a privately owned Hospital, there is a board of Directors. When patient revenues go down to cover all the hospital expense, including epuipment, then the Board of Directors kick in more money at the top, from the foundation, to cover costs. Corporations have crippled many a hospital. It is my surmise that obamacare will make sure the corporate heads get their money (from your elevated premiums).

How do you make MEDICARE more solvent by stealing more than 700 billion dollars from it to fund Obamacare?

THE REPUBLICAN MAJORITY WHO OPPOSE SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE, MEDICAID, AND OBAMA'S MEDICAL REFORMS HAS THE MENTALITY OF THE "CAVE MEN" IN 2013. MORE THAN 120 AMERICANS DIE EVERY DAY--THAT'S 45,000 A YEAR DUE TO LACK OF MEDICAL CARE. HEALTH CARE IS A HUMAN RIGHT, NOT A PRIVILEGE FOR THE ELITE ONLY. NO ONE SHOULD DIE IN THE U.S.A. BECAUSE THEY LACK HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE.
