Brilliant Move by TRUMP

Donald Trump just trumped all the Republican candidates for President.

The day after the mom jeans wearing squat to pee President came out to assure us that tolerance, gun control, and c*****e c****e would save us from ISIS, Donald Trump demanded we bar any muslims from entering this country and bar any American citizen who is muslim from re-entering the United States.

Set aside the merits of what amounts to at least, in part, an unconstitutional position.

This is actually brilliant politics for the here and now. Immediately, every other Republican candidate except Ted Cruz rushed out to attack Donald Trump. He’s unhinged, h**eful, etc. And the responses all amounted to “we must let muslims enter our country,” which sounds a whole lot like “we must allow all Mexicans in our country,” which everyone knows is blatantly untrue on both counts.

We do not have to do it, but the other candidates, unable to nuance their spittle, went all in with “no religious tests” and “yes we must do this because it is who we are.”

So, to put it another way, the day after the President failed to reassure a scared public following the second worst terrorist attack since 9/11 on domestic soil, Donald Trump not only got himself to the right of all the other candidates, but also got every single one of them save for Ted Cruz to align themselves with Barack Obama.

H**e Donald Trump all you want, be offended by his proposal all you want, but it is really brilliant politics for Trump right now in the Republican primary and the reactions from the other candidates prove it. All the people attacking Trump on his immigration proposals now attacking him on this have done themselves no favors within the primary process.

Have none of these people read Art of the Deal? This is an opening, bombastic salvo to set the terms of negotiations and the other candidates except Ted Cruz just decided to negotiation in Barack Obama’s position. And it comes at a time some polls are suggesting Trump is starting to fade in places like Iowa.

Again, ignore the merits and constitutionality — the politics of this work to his advantage

Well, I disagree. Although deep inside I agree with the concept, in reality he has shot himself in the foot...politically. I thought maybe he would re-think this statement, and walk it back, but it seems he is doubling down on it. I think it will damage him in the long run, so we'll see. I still prefer Cruz.

As of this morning using his very statement in the Poll, he's climbed to 36%
and that's in the lowest pew

I just took another poll and they have him at 86%

Dude, I'm no expert in this v**e tally thing or polls...but I'm seeing the numbers climb across the board here.

Yes he does have a Valid Factual Point...

The constitution says to Preserve and protect the Republic at all costs...

This Trump Card is up !

I like what Trump says...a lot. Having said that, I keep mulling over in my head what he has said in the past, when he was a lot more liberal. Now, has he really changed, or just saying what he knows the public right now want to hear? I still say he will not get the nomination...a Cuban American will. And, if I'm wrong, and he does get the nomination, I think Hillary will beat him. That is why I like Cruz...I think he has a much better shot at beating Hillary, and I think he would make a better president than trump. JMHO

I'll sit back and watch as both CruzMissile and CubanBoy have lawsuits ramping up for eligibility in both Offices and Senate seats...

Bad s**t coming down the pipe on them and for the GOP

As for Hilarious, she'll never be President, the FBI will indict her next and the Scandal will close the chapter on that story for ever.

The FBI will most likely recommend a Hillary indictment, but I will make you a wager that the DOJ will not prosecute, and she will walk. Cruz, or Rubio, will not be hampered by an eligibility ruling...that might have happened pre-Obama, but a prescient has now been established, and it won't effect Rubio or Cruz. Oh, there will be some hoopla, but it won't amount to much. The Constitution is too vague on this issue.

I really wonder how true these polls are. I believe the numbers are completely made up to steer people in a certain way. I heard a poll yesterday that has K**lery beating every GOP candidate by a decent margin. Really find that impossible to believe.

The IRC is one agency, and they cry 'humanitarian' all the while collecting Government money for every one of these disturbed individuals they bring into the country. They are a NOT FOR PROFIT, so who do you think gets paid big bucks - I don't know, but would bet the officers of IRC.

The FBI has said with Syria so war torn there ARE NO RECORDS available to use for vetting these people. So, Ovomit, if you want them bring them all to DC. I've read our Governor has received more angry phone calls than ever before regarding any issue. TX Governor has sued to stop it, and that may be the answer tie the government up in so many lawsuits they can't get anything done.

OH YES, these resettlement agencies, like the IRC and UNHCR - they get money from the government for everyone they resettle. You Bet their aim is humanitarian with maybe a touch of greed??? The UN one is affiliated with the U.N., and you know how they love us.
