Rejecting Christ
Some people expect God to show them proof that He is real while they make no effort to read His word, know Him better, and make life better for those around them. Jesus never had any concern for people with this mindset and He does not change His mind. When satan comes to this earth pretending to be Christ there will be some skeptics. They will ask satan to prove he is Christ. When they do he will make lightening appear in their eyesight. We should not judge by what sounds and looks good but by what is good. When those that dont know the Jesus revealed in scripture see this event they will praise satan thinking he is Christ. That is why when He returns in Matthew 24:30 says most wont be glad to see Him. If you read Luke 12:40 you see that Jesus will return when He is least expected. He will be least expected to return when we think He is already here.

What you are saying is: I shouldn't believe anything and just be skeptical of anyone who has all the answers and can appear to perform miracles?
