Authors of the New Testament
Of the twelve disciples only three have writings that are included in the King James Bible. They are Matthew, John, and Peter. Mark and Luke were not disciples. Luke was a doctor of medicine and a scribe of Paul. He wrote the book named after him and Acts. Mark was a teenager who hung around Christ and the disciples. Most of the New Testament was written by Paul. I feel that the Holy Spirit chose Paul to replace Judas Iscariot. The disciples chose Matthias but this is the last time we hear his name mentioned. James and Jude were half-brothers of Jesus. They didn’t believe in Christ when He was alive but had a change of heart when He rose from the dead. Jude’s name was really Judas. Because of Judas Iscariot betraying Christ, the translators of the King James Bible were squeamish about naming a book of the bible after Judas, so they shortened Judas to Jude. The author of Hebrews is unknown. The men in charge of translating and selecting which books would be picked to make up the King James Bible had a dilemma. They agreed that all the writers of the New Testament had to have met Jesus, but Hebrews was scripturally accurate even though they were unsure of who wrote it. To solve this problem they first said Paul wrote it and when it was included they recanted. The writings of Paul are from Romans to Philemon. They are in order of longest to shortest. The authors of the New Testament are Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Unknown, James, Peter, and Jude. John wrote the epistle that bears his name, first, second and third John, and Revelation.

Authors of the New Testament br Of the twelve disc... (show quote)

It gets a lot more complicated than you describe, which will ultimately call the "inerrancy of the Bible" a sincere delusion.

Apparently you didn't research and listen to those who haven't studied themselves. The saddest thing about blind leading blind is knowing the follower won't find out that the leader is blind also until it is too late.
