Fornication is not adultery

Fornication is sex between two unmarried people. There is no scripture that says that God will not recognize a relationship until a couple vow in front of man. Some states recognize common law marriage. 1 Corinthians 7:36 says that you can have sex with your fiancé before the ceremony if you are going to marry anyway. Let’s in quote 1 Corinthians 6:18:
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is without the body; but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.
What is this saying? If I hit you in the head with a brick and take your wallet, I may get away with it, but you have a busted head and no cash. However if I sleep with a stranger, I put myself in danger. She may have a disease, be lazy, or insane. She may be deceptive and evil. She might get pregnant. The courts will take child support and she may not spend the money on the child. If two virgins marry and sleep only with each other, there is no chance of contracting a disease.
Adultery is when someone married cheats. God says don’t do it. Whenever the answer to the question is God ain’t real, or the word of God is a lie, then the question came from satan and that is the conclusion he wanted you to reach before you got in the situation. What we should do is do the best you can to be as good as you can. Follow God wherever He leads and choose the greater good. It may not feel good all the time but it will end in your favor. If you do your best, God will do the rest. Which leads us to Matthew 5:27 & 28:
You have heard it said by them of old time, you shall not commit adultery: But I say to you, that whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her in his heart.
Adultery is not fornication. If two unmarried people actually have sex it would be fornication. For it to be adultery somebody has to be married. If you are married, you should not be alone with another person of the opposite sex. You shouldn‘t even look at them.
