Repentance
We are told to repent without knowing what we did that was wrong. Repenting of unknown sins doesnt matter if you continue to do it. It is not a sin for a man and a woman to make love. When the bible tells to avoid fornication what it means is that we should know the person we have sex with. Having sex with strangers is a bad idea. You may find yourself joined to someone who under normal circumstances you would have nothing to do with. Jesus started His ministry telling people to repent. He also said a servant is not greater than his master. As a teacher of Gods word you should follow Jesus. Jesus had trouble with those in organized religion and so should you. They teach a relationship with Christ is possible while we ignore every sermon He preached, parable He taught, and miracle He performed. Jeremiah 23:16 says, Thus says the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision out of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.
