Laws of sexual relations

The scriptures found in this lesson are found in Leviticus 18:6 - 24. Obedience to the law found in God’s word would make this nation a better place to live. The church makes money telling you that you don’t have to follow the commandments but you should pay tithes. That doesn’t make any sense. You can’t straddle the fence, either follow all of the word of God or none of it. In Revelation 3:14 - 22 God tells the Laodiceans that He would prefer them to be hot or cold. The fact that they were lukewarm made Him want to throw up. That being said the word of God should be followed and not policed. Another man’s sin is none of your business. The only person you can make sure is following God is you. You cannot look at someone and tell they had sex. We should police ourselves. Everyone has a flaw in their genetics. These flaws are multiplied if relatives reproduce. The Canaanites that were displaced by the children of Jacob were having sex with men, women, and animals. It is never personal. If America does the same thing the Canaanites did we will suffer the same fate. God is specific about what behavior will destroy us if we do it. If the word of God forbids it, then we should not do it. No one will prosper doing that God forbids. Will God punish us, or damn us to hell, or people not let us teach if we do these things? No. God doesn’t punish like we do. We choose our own destruction when we sin. God doesn’t look for a reason to punish us. God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him the world would be saved. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in him would not perish, but have everlasting life. We should not concern ourselves with being popular. In this age of the false accuser, if you haven’t done anything, they will just make it up. We will briefly cover verse 6- 24. Verses 6 - 18 forbids having sex with immediate family members. Cousins are not immediate family members. Grandparents are as well as aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, ½ brothers, and ½ sisters. If your father remarries, a Godly man will not have sex with his father’s wife. Don’t have sex with in-laws, or a woman and her daughter, or a woman and her sister if they both live. Verse 19 forbids having sex when she is on her period. (That is just nasty). We should not allow children to be killed. The time to concern yourself with a child is before it is conceived. Don’t sleep with your neighbors wife. Same sex relationships are forbidden. If you feel attraction for someone of the same sex, that spirit does not come from God. The only species of animal that practices same sex relationships is man. No one has seen two male dogs stuck. Bestiality is forbidden. These activities were the reason the Canaanites lost everything they had.
