49th Psalm

Read the verse first, then read the comments.

Verse 1

This has to be God because any human would have a language problem. In Germany they speak German and is Spain they speak Spanish. However, the only one that can speak every language would be the one who confused the languages in the first place.

Verse 2

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or can do. It doesn’t matter what you think or how you look at yourself. This is something we don’t think or talk about.

Verse 3

When anybody says they will say something smart, it is never that smart. When God says something is smart you will look stupid when you try to appear more intelligent than God.

Verse 4

This is something we don’t think about. This chapter contains one of the many mysteries hidden in the word of God hiding in plain site. When music is added to words, not only do they seem more important, they are easier to memorize.

Verse 5

Bubble gum Christianity is a lie. We don’t understand sin. At the same time child murder is condemned but abortion is okay. Rape of a child is condemned but some don’t provide for their own children. Actions that we all commit are okay for some but off limits for others. Normal relations are condemned while same sex marriage is being legalized. It doesn’t matter. God is in control. He laughs when we think we can defeat Him or His blessings can be enjoyed without obeying His wishes.

Verse 6 & 7

Man makes money but money does not make man. It doesn’t matter how much money you make, your money can not add an inch to your height or a minute to your life.

Verse 8 & 9

Once we die, we won’t come back. We will all be the main course at a subterranean buffet.

Verse 10

It does not matter how you think or what you have. There are certain facts of reality that are not amenable to your feelings and don’t need your approval. One of these is that dogs chase cats. Another is if you put an egg in a hot skillet it will fry. You will leave everything you accumulated on this earth here when you die. You will carry nothing in your hand.

Verse 11

God can read our minds and knows our innermost thoughts. Meanwhile, we name states, counties, and streets after people that were famous during our lifetime. We never plan a move when we move in.

Verse 12

Just like when a pet dies, you never see it again. In the same way, when we die we don’t come back.

Verse 13

We think we will be young adults forever. None of us are divinities. In America, there is no age where a child grows up. The common belief is that one person can be growner than another. The bible teaches that children grow up and become parents themselves. We are policing the bible instead of following the bible. The word of God is meant to be followed and not policed. Whether or not another person sins is none of your business, as you can do nothing about it. We are the only ones we can insure are obeying God. The people teaching us the bible don’t understand themselves.

Verse 14

Some day we will be the main course at a subterranean buffet.

Verse 15

Only Christians have hope when we die, of life after death. Anyone who doesn’t believe in God has no hope of life after death.

Verse 16

Your mind can make a hell of Heaven or a Heaven of hell. Things are never as good or bad as they seem. Don’t get the big head if you come into a lot of money. Don’t worry if someone gets promoted at work.

Verse 17

Riches never last. In this life we will have down sittings and uprisings. Wisdom will sustain you in every situation in life. If you rely on material possessions, you will find yourself in a position where money can’t help you.

Verse 18

Popular opinion is always wrong. What is believed to be common sense is actually nonsense. A rich man has many friends. Be careful how you treat people on your way up. You may see them on your way down.

Verse 19 & 20

You may think money is your God. When you have been shot in the chest, you will not put money over your bullet wounds. You will not expect your money to heal you.
