minimum requirements for life.

"The complexity of living organisms is staggering. In the face of this breathtaking complexity, evolutionists have tried to find the basic things necessary for a cell to function. So far they have found 17 general categories

Replication, recombination, and repair
Transcription
Cell cycle control, mitosis, and meiosis
Defense mechanisms
Cell wall/membrane biogenesis
Signal t***sduction mechanisms
Intracellular trafficking and secretion
T***slation
Post-t***slational modification, protein turnover, chaperones
Energy production and conversion
Carbohydrate t***sport and metabolism
Amino acid t***sport and metabolism
Nucleotide t***sport and metabolism
Coenzyme t***sport and metabolism
Lipid t***sport and metabolism
Inorganic ion t***sport and metabolism
Secondary metabolite biosynthesis, t***sport, and catabolism
Each category requires many proteins. All have to be in place and working together or the cell is wrecked.

And some people actually believe that all of these components just happened to come together at the same time to produce life. Some people will believe anything.

And id you are - quite intelligently - saying there is a God that Created Life then WHO CREATED GOD?!? Oh, sorry... THAT'S BLASPHEME ISN'T IT?!?

Oh come on! After billions of years, with billions of things happening just right at just the right time in just the right place - why WOULDN'T we think it's just a coinkydink?

Look at the results. Modern humans have destroyed 50% of the Earths biodiversity, in just 5000 years or so, so if humans were the end result of a billion years of evolution - survival of the fittest just got crapped on. A species intent on destroying itself and all other life forms as well, is NOT a good example of the evolution theory - that states that mutations occur which benefit the species and enhances survival. If that theory were TRUE - then humans are in fact DEVOLVING.

And the true answer lies in an ancient book that mentions or who's writers understand none of this and instead speak of people turning to pillars of salt, burning bushes, parting seas a boat that can hold two of every species on earth a whale swallowing and disgorging a man alive and other such nonsense. This is truly an enlightened position you take.

Right. Since no one can prove it happened - it didn't. BTW, no one can prove that the universe began as a teeny tiny dot of everything - then exploded into the unimaginable vastness we barely see today. Talk about a tall tale that cannot be proven. Seriously? Everything began as a tiny dot? You can believe THAT - but have trouble with the other things you mentioned.

You're being a little selective with your belief in the unimaginable aren't you? A theory that has yet to be disproven - is not yet a fact - it is still a theory - meaning that ALL theories that have yet to be disproven - are as valid as any other. Until you can PROVE that a big fish did not swallow then vomit up a man - then it is still as true as the big bang - which is STILL - just a theory, with a lot of holes in it.

Here's a hint; dark matter may very well be God's brain tissue. Scary isn't it?

It is your prerogative to give a fable about a man being swallowed by a fish the same credibility as the combined work of the worlds greatest physicists. Keep in mind it speaks to your own credibility, and the story it tells is not flattering.

Uhuh. Things you don't understand are stupid - which speaks volumes about YOUR abilities - since you do NOT understand the very physics you mentioned. They are THEORIES, do you not know what a theory is?

Who are YOU to determine that Jonah's story is a "fable", but the big bang theory is not? Remember ( or learn ) that the worlds greatest scientists - cannot account for 85% of the matter in the universe, yet still insist that it came from that tiny little point at the beginning.

Here's even more evidence that THAT theory is more fable than Jonah - they have no clue what existed before the big bang, nor do they have a clue about WHERE that tiny little dot came from. Want to discuss more astrophysics? I can do it all day.

Sure explain how people are turned into pillars of salt, and how a pair of each of the eight million seven hundred thousand species on earth fit on a crude wooden boat. How about the biology of a guy surviving in the belly of a fish. In the mean time I will stick with the scientists.

It is not even random when we plan a Thanksgiving dinner, and that is much easier than creating life.
May God be with you as you offer Him thanks for the meal you are sharing, the friends you are sharing it with, and for your very life itself. AMEN

Just a heads up. It is entirely possible to be swallowed by a whale. Don't know how long someone could survive in there, but it's irrelevant. The Bible never mentions a whale. It says that God PREPARED a great FISH. It is my belief that it was created specifically for the purpose for which it was used. You scoff at miracles. But if there is a God, something that no one can disprove, miracles would not be miraculous. Would they?

But all of that is off topic. How about you explain YOUR fairy tale about how thousands of elements magically came together to produce the first living cell?

Easy, a great invisible flying spaghetti monster glued all of the stuff together with fairy dust and d**gon farts six thousand years ago. It took six days and then the spaghetti monster was tuckered out. There is more to it than this but it is pretty complicated and you likely wouldn't get it.

Quit deflecting. Tell us how life began, according to scientists.
