Thanksgiving message for all of Humanity.

America is not such a bad place after all. If it were, would there be such a tsunami of immigrants washing across this country seeking a better life?

The uncontrolled flow of immigrants into the United States would be even larger, were it not for two oceans separating us from the hundreds of thousands of Middle East refugees:

They have no place to go, except to risk their lives to reach Europe and, once there, to seek solace and a good life in the heart of its great cities.

Moreover, if there were a geographic land bridge connecting the Middle East to America, Syrian refugees would be pouring across it to reach the U.S.

A visualization of the tired minds and bodies of undocumented Latin American immigrants streaming across our southern border, together with those of Syrian refugees desperately seeking asylum in Europe paints a self-evident picture:

Together, they constitute a singular act of mass migration that confirms the greatness, magnanimity, openness, and inclusiveness of the Western world, characteristics over which hovers the protective, unabashed nobility of our great hard-earned democracies.

Although I fully realize that America has made mistakes during its growth years and, at times, has stumbled badly (which nation hasn’t?), I have grown exceedingly weary of hearing it being put down – most especially when derived from sources emanating from high places in the nation’s capital.

Tomorrow, as you and your loved ones enjoy the benefits and privileges of this republic, despite the very real issues bedeviling it, pause momentarily, if you see fit, to reflect upon others who would gladly trade places with us, if only they could.

Thanksgiving is a time for rejoicing in America’s achievements.
Thanks for checking in again, and remember, take care of yourselves.

With as corrupt a government as we have how could our country not be put down? I mean, we hear almost minute by minute, second by second, how evil our government is from either one side of the coin or the other. Our longing for the 'good ole days' turns out to be nothing more than the last time our party held the presidency. A country is the accumulation of everyone who is a citizen so the good or bad of a country is predicated by the good or bad of the politicians that the people put in office.

Thanksgiving is a time for rejoicing--sadly, I think we've forgotten what it is we are suppose to rejoice...

Right! So Democrats demonize Republicans and visa versa, what's a person to do? Simple - stop v****g for ANY of them - and the demons disappear.

A vey nice message on our day of giving thanks and I thank you for it WFOC, and a Happy Thanksgiving to you. Our greatest strength is our embracing of other people and their cultures into our fold.

What I truly love and appreciate on this day is that it is shared by all, it leaves no one out, we are all inclusive. If we could only take that thought with us everyday.

And yes bringing in people of refuge and despair, may be a challenge but in the long run it is what makes us strong. We have been witnessing the blending of ethnic groups everyday as seen more than ever with blended families.

The only things we should fight against is h**e and those who try to divide us. We are one. This is our finest example.
How we accept others differences, isn't that a beautiful and humane example to show the world.

The United States of America are the United People of America. God Bless America and Happy Thanksgiving to all.
