Frankly, the crisp napkins do not make for a classy person, nor do paper napkins make for a slob. I would prefer paper napkins and no crude language, if I were to have a choice.
I can't disagree at all. We use Bounty paper towels, and Dixie paper plates. ( the stiff kind)

We have selfish reasons for using this trash!! After eating, we can toss it in the woodstove, and use it for heat since we are looking at an ice storm for the next two days!!

I heard about such. I spoke with Slatten earlier this evening. He mentioned terrible weather for the holiday. One can only assume you are going to rely on more then paper towels and plates to keep the wood stove providing warmth. You did cut wood, correct?

I did! We have plenty of good ol Texas misquite fire wood, bottled water, food, and candles in case we lose power! We are supposed to go to work Friday....we will just have to see. I don't see me going to Oklahoma if it turns out as bad as the weather prevaricators are saying!

I am ever thankful for all that I am lucky enough to have: No worry about food or a roof over my head, the bounteous love of my husband, family and friends. Decent wine and a warm fire. And a country where I can speak freely and be (mostly!) respected even when I disagree, which is often. And despite what some may think, I am thankful for all the community on OPP, even the s**theads. You all keep me thinking, and that's a good thing.
Wishing you each and every one a Happy Thanksgiving, a safe Thanksgiving, and a loving Thanksgiving.

Here I thought you, actually, had a grasp of the English language without using gutter words.
In deference to AuntiE, this particular 'feces'head wishes you a happy, safe and loving Thanksgiving in return for your wishes for me/all.
I am a c*****r from North Florida where "S**thead" can be a kind of honorific that means I really care about you!!!

In any case, none of you responding are in the "bad" s**thead categories anyway.
