I find absolutely no fault in this Christians statement. They will NOT assimilate. PERIOD.
Have you heard how American Muslims have come together in
announcing their disdain for radical Islam ? Well, have you ?

Let that be the first indicator of where they are as a race and not
as Americans.

Americans, especially Christian Americans, are the most charitable people in the world. The answer to the Syrian refugee crisis is to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. Rather than taking these Shariah-compliant followers of Muhammad – many of whom, as our own intelligence has established, are either ISIS sympathizers or operatives – into our own home, we must unequivocally demand that oil-rich Islamic nations like Saudi Arabia, Iran and others open their own sealed borders to their fellow Muslims in need. They share the same value system and religion, both of which are rooted in Islamic Shariah law – a sociopolitical worldview that is anathema, indeed hostile, to America’s Judeo-Christian values and constitutional-republican form of government.

Undeniably, Saudi Arabia alone has the means to immediately house at least 3 million of these Syrian refugees in its vacant, air conditioned tent city, used only occasionally to accommodate Muslims on their pilgrimage to Mecca. America can also help subsidize, build and facilitate additional refugee camps throughout the Middle East. http://m.townhall.com/columnists/mattbarber/2015/11/22/a-christian-response-to-the-syrian-refugee-crisis-n2083918?utm_source=thdaily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl&newsletterad=

If you don't know....then you may want to seek Christ Jesus with ALL of your heart.
Only then will you understand.

I beg your pardon sir but your first three words, " I don't understand " can never be answered by another human being in a way that will provide you with sudden enlightenment.

And sadly, some of the least capable of helping your quest to understand, would be the Christians themselves.

You see, most Christians don't actually read the bible and some of those who attempt to read it, never really understand it.

I have read the bible many many times and I have found that it contains secrets that are so incredibly profound that you would find it hard to believe.

The fact that I have come to understand this great text is the primary reason I do not call myself a Christian.

As for The Christ himself, any one who thinks they can explain him to you is on a fruitless mission.

The t***h is, not every man will know Christ as his savior.

And the only way you will be be convinced of his presense, is when Christ himself allows it.

Consider the following scripture .

**************************************
John 14: 21

"Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

**************************************
Notice in the last sentence," .....and will show myself to them."

I, also, "try" to not consider myself as "Christian", but rather a follower of my faith in Christ Jesus.

to begin with, please don't call me sir. I worked for a living. LOL I know none of us can even begin to know the Creator! It'd be like comparing an amoeba to us, a billion times over. Awhile back I had the pleasure of meeting Singularity & some of her cohorts. I enjoyed the conversations haven't been able to reach her again, but I'll try. they don't believe in the creator because there was no scientific proof. as far as I'm concerned the no proof a Creator doesn't exist. I don't believe Mr. Sagans Glorious Accident, even though his logic is impressive. my question was what existed before the Big Bang. there wasn't a convincing response. She did recommend some books which I've purchased. I've read one & will begin the others when I finish the one I'm presently reading. This could become something of a marathon, so I'll break off here. I do hope we could have some interesting conversations. b safe !

It certainly would be the humanitarian thing to do. Where better than in a nation where they speak the language, understand the culture and can hear the sound of the call to prayers from a minaret?

You've made the above statement with what I perceive to be a sound conviction.

You state that you know that," no one can even begin to know the Creator !"

So within that statement you imply that you acknowledge that there is a Creator.

You even capitalized the word Creator.

So in order for me to understand succinctly what it is you are attempting to discover , you must make clear whether or not you are fully atheist, agnostic, or are you nihilistic.

What I have surmised from what little I have learned from you, I would say that you have not quote made up your mind in a manner of finality.

You say that you are reading books that were recommended by Singularity which suggests that you are still in the process of discovery.

So my question is. Do you believe there is a Creator ?

And if the answer is no, I would advocate that you simply cease to even waste time pondering Christianity, and focus on something that is what you consider a tangible endeavor.
