This is our history. It is ugly and disconcerting. Yet, exceptionally, we overcame these horrid abuses. How? By hard work and compromise, by listening to protest and complaint. Not by demonizing the supporters of change and saying they were not patriots. America became great, became exceptional, by our system of government. The government is not the enemy, as the Right proclaims. Democrats are not the enemy, as the Right proclaims. This fantastic experiment in liberty exists and influences the world only by giving an ear to both sides of a question.

Or, do you like stagnant economies, small inefficient and social experiment military, a society where the minorities rule, big cities becoming big slums, big governments that rule every aspect of your life, a society where one doesn't have to work because of government entitlements, a lower class healthcare system with lower quality of care, and I could go on, but you get the gist. Our country exists because a lot of good people died protecting it, not because of people b***hing about it, and trying to give it away.
Come back w/ change that actually benefits the people, not just suppresses them more in the future.
