Always easy to cherry pick a minor negative. But overall these sanctuary cities are disgraceful. Democrats pissing on America. Plain and simple

The way I understand it, the local police want i******s to cooperate with them about crime, as witnesses and informants. Policing will get harder now that i******s will avoid talk or reporting crimes for fear of deportation.

Police want people to report crime or act as witnesses, and that fear of deportation would discourage people from coming forward. A former police chief, Rodney Monroe said the city isn’t responsible for enforcing i*********n l*w, just as its officers don’t investigate people who c***t on their federal income taxes.

Pure nonsense. We are talking about people who have committed crimes. They should be handed over to ICE. Stop making pathetic excuses for this Dem Treason

The buying of v**es in local e******ns was easy where large groups of immigrants could be mobilized by their leaders to march to the polls... naturalization papers could be obtained before e******n, free of charge and without too many questions asked, from friendly judges. In the 1840's, it was the general practice to advertise in the German papers of New York just before E******n Day that all Germans wishing to be naturalized should apply to the German committee of Tammany Hall, where they would receive their citizenship papers gratis. Irish immigrants landing in the morning might be v**ers by nightfall.

No argument. Tammany Hall is just one more example of Democrat corruption in American history

To me its like giving a child a pack of matches, it makes no sense to play w/ fire.
There is no benefit to the taxpayers to allow these people into our country.

You're absolutely right. This only creates possible problems. Let's help them any way we can. Maybe we can some of the gulf States like Saudi, Egypt and UAE to help. I'm still trying to really understand why he's so stubborn on having them come in not vetted to the largest extent. He has an ulterior motive and it's not because he's just a great humanitarian.

So when these refugees get in, like i******s who get citizenship, will increase the liberal democrat v****g base, in theory.

Just that it is dynamic and nothing stays the same. You can refer to one point in time and I another.

Since Oct. 1, 2014, we've admitted only 1,854 of the estimated 4 million refugees who have fled Syria. So the Obama people who say 10,000 are way off and not practical.

IMHO, we'll only be able to take in 2,500 or so a year and after some time, the public opinion will change to save children and their families as the Christian thing to do. One thing you can count on is that things change.

I am sure public opinion will change once we know we can actually vet them
