How many times will we get to see you post that link with the very same words of introduction? This is just the second time I know of but when will you think of something different?

Clandestine arms deals happen all the time. The possibility that that may have happened in B******i in no way blames the folks on the ground there, but it sure as hell makes one question the integrity and competence of the authority that ordered it.

You have just said what I want them to disprove before I accept any other lie they tell about B******i.

I was just thinking about that 3:00 am phone call Hillary talked about in that primary commercial and now we have her and her opponent, Barack, lying all over the place when they failed in the late hours.

The simultaneous (1998) attack in Nairobi and Tanzania were coordinated bombings, not sustained fire fight attacks as was the B******i incident. The forces needed, and ability to repel the attack were available yet denied by this administration. A few lines from a news article are unimpressive to me. If you would like to brush up on your facts about terrorism, try this sight.

There are no pesky bias from news agencies or government influence. Just facts.

I always get a real kick out of the attempts by the Post and other leaning places to say that Obama and Clinton shouldn't be blamed, at all, for this one. Who was the Commander in Chief of the military and where was he that night? Who was in charge of the State Department, just below Obama then? If the cover up should ever blow off, then what?

Defense secretary Robert Gates said the only option for rescue was to send F-16's to the site, which would take 20hr's and were not the right tool. Where in the world do you people get your information from. We all know that is Faux News.

Did you even read the article? There was a CIA outpost with Navy Seal personnel present a mile away from the attack. They could hear the gun fire from the consulate and requested permission to investigate and render aid. They were denied and told to stand down.

How many miles is it from Aviano, Italy to B******i? 20 hours would be fine for going from the US or some place else in the North American region but it was nowhere more than 2 or 3 hours from Aviano and they were ready to go within 30 minutes of the alert. Gates may not know about that distance but some of us who served there sure as hell know. There was no way it would take more than 3 hours for them to arrive. How about from Tripoli? 20 hours would seem to provide lots of time for refueling and resting also. You have been had by Gates who was involved and the rest of the liars of the Obama administration.

How about you get out a map of the Mediterranean and checking the distance from Aviano. Surely you could believe the t***h if you saw it for your own eyes.

Very true, the base is 480 miles away from B******i and f-16's travel at a top speed of 1,345 miles per hour. The trip would be more like 20 minutes, not 20 hours.

You have swallowed those pitiful excuses hook, line and sinker and you did it because that's what you want to believe. If you don't let the Republicans lie to you why do you let the Democrats do it? None of them are on the up and up about any of this.

The 400 plus surface to air missiles that turned up missing may have had something to do with the reason they failed to scramble jets.

Well, of course, but did they steal something to allow them to pinpoint where the missiles would hit? Those rebels aren't even trained to use those things on planes that trade more than 1000 mph and F16s surely do that.

Perhaps that may not have anything to do with why the adminstration chose to do nothing about the attack. Perhaps they did nothing because to do so would have been a tacit admission to the administration's abject failure in mideast policy and its desire to blame US for the mess that region is in. As far as the rebel's training goes, half of them came from somewhere else and I'll bet plenty of them can use a shoulder fired surface to air missile.

The most precise and clearest answer to the question of this thread: an unequivicable YES

It was just another cover up that more than likely this Government was having those soldiers do something over there that they shouldn't have been doing and lying about it was the only way to try and keep it hid from the American people.

VERY well said. I totally concur. The sooner this mess is cleared up, the better the families of the murdered can put their houses in order and get back to living rather than agonizing. As God is my witness, had one of those Americans who needlessly died because of a non-functional government, I would be camped out on Capital Hill, and I would hound the daylights out of EVERYONE there until I got an answer. And when I had to go to the bathroom, I'd have a friend do my hounding for me in my absence. The behavior of this administration is horrid, and treasonous is not an altogether false description.

1000% YESSS! People who are NOT APPALLED about this CARELESSNESS of the murder of those Americans are heartless & would be whaling a different tune IF it was THEIR loved ones who were VICTIMS of this TRAGEDY under THIS administration.
