I don't follow a lot of pop culture, but I'm aware of who Katy Perry is and I'm aware that her father has allowed her to do all the things she has done without a word of rebuke to her. In fact, you'll notice in the following video that he doesn't seem to even care what his daughter is engaged in or who she leads astray. Yet, he continues to tout himself as a minister of God. However, an angry Christian woman loves him enough to confront him about both his and his daughter's behavior.

Keith Hudson, Katy's father, was confronted by a woman who is identified only as Christine (although it appears that this may be the same Christine who took a stand against Muslims in Texas, inside the Oklahoma State Capitol Building and at the National Cathedral) outside a Christian radio station in Phoenix Arizona, who told him that his daughter was a "satanic woman" and that she is d**gging him and others to hell.

"Do you know that she is one of the most wicked people?" Christine said. "She is a satanic woman who has led millions to hell."

Mr. Hudson told Christine that he ministers all over the world, but she simply responded, "Then minister to your daughter, because that is needed more than ever. You ought to know better — when you have a girl that walks with Satan the way she does!"

"She is taking you to hell right along with her, including millions of young women and men who are listening to her videos!" Christine added.

Hudson asked her if she thought she "acting like a Christian."

I would assume that would be a yes since the founder of Christianity, Jesus the Christ, rebuked religious hypocrites like Mr. Hudson. Take a look at Matthew 23 for example and see how Jesus called them hypocrites (vss. 14, 15, 23, 25, 27, 29), serpents and generation of vipers (vs. 33), blind guides (vs. 24), fools (vs. 17), and even condemned them to hell (vs. 33). And that's just in one chapter! So, yes, seems she was right on the mark, and in case you don't understand the difference, both Christ and Christina were addressed supposed religious leaders, not the people.

"The fruit of your tree is pretty rotten, along with your daughter's!" she added.

Of course, Hudson claimed to believe his life was being threatened even though there was no evidence of that.

Christina had said that her own son had gone astray, but that she confronted him over his waywardness while Hudson refuses to do that for his own daughter, demonstrating that he does not truly love her (Proverbs 13:24).

Responding to that t***sparency, Hudson said Christina was like "a bitter and angry woman trying to blame my kid for her kid's mistakes."

However, notice that Christina didn't blame either Hudson or Perry for her son's waywardness.

Perry, who has abandoned the Christian faith and doesn't believe in heaven, hell or "an old man sitting on a throne," has also stated that she continues to believe in a higher power and says that is what holds her accountable. To what, she really doesn't say.

"Accountability is rare to find, especially with people like myself, because nobody wants to tell you something you don't want to hear," she said. "I actually don't trust people who start to turn on me because they get scared of telling me the t***h."

I wouldn't trust those people either.

"I'm not Buddhist, I'm not Hindu, I'm not Christian, but I still feel like I have a deep connection with God," she said. "I pray all the time — for self-control, for humility. There's a lot of gratitude in it. Just saying 'thank you' sometimes is better than asking for things."

In 2014, Perry conducted an occult performance at the Grammys. In 2015, before her Super Bowl performance, she claimed that God spoke to her saying, "You've got this and I've got you."

Consider that this is a woman whose first big hit was, "I kissed a Girl." She was openly promoting sodomy. So, how then does she know that it was the true God speaking? It doesn't sound like the God of the Bible for sure. Could it be Satan (I offer in my best Church Lady voice)? I think that is exactly who is behind it. It's the same forces that work behind "Christian ministers" who claim to have a word from God that is nothing but the musings of their own minds.

God said to those who claim to speak a word on His behalf:

The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. – Jeremiah 23:28

Indeed, young Perry does lead people down the wide road to hell, but so the same thing could be said of her father by failing to rebuke her. Any ministry that Hudson claims to have is tarnished not only by his own failures as a father, but also by those of his daughter who flaunts her wickedness in front of the whole world without reproof.

There is only one remedy for both and it is the same remedy for any other sinner and that is repentance towards God (the true God) and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing else will clear the conscience (though something else may sear it) and reconcile fallen men to their Creator.

Finally, in case you are like many who commented on the video and claim the tired old saw of "Judge not lest ye be judged," why don't you actually find out what that means by reading an excellent exposition that Shea Bernard has offered on the very citation in refutation of sodomites who use it as a club to silence Christians, not even knowing the context from which they speak, the very context that Christina brought up to Mr. Hudson when she pointed out the corruption of the fruit of his life.

I believe it is wrong to blame music for how a young person views the world. It is the parents job to instill morals and proper behavior. The music industry is all about making money not teaching morals.

If parents do their job, it doesn't matter what some bubble gum entertainment icon says. Think this young lady's music is bad, don't buy it. I don't know about other families but the adults control the money in this house.
