I had the pleasure of doing missions work in Tulsa at the state fair. I must say, Oklahomans are some of the nicest down home folks you will ever meet. I enjoyed it so much. There are also many nice American Indian folks there. They wear a lot of Western clothes and carry knives openly on their belts. The main thing that stood out to me was many many beautiful tall women. Absolutely gorgeous. We stayed about 40 miles outside Tulsa and I could see millions of stars at night. It had been years since I had the pleasure of this. And of course, I thanked God for His beautiful creation. I also rode on a bus with about 40 other Christian men. One night we left the fair to drive back to where we were staying. A beautiful Christian camp for young people. Anyway, I witnessed an amazing thunder and lightning show like I had never seen under the big open sky. Fond memories. My job was to ride up front and keep the headlights working intermittently on the bus. We had a short which we were able to repair before heading home a few days later. My stepdad was from Oklahoma. They really are nice folks.
