They only act stupid because they want attention. Kind of like a little kid throwing a temper tantrum, while kicking about on the floor.

So... Go ahead, come up with a simple two word retort to their many rants that even they can understand. Then use it over and over. Nothing else, just something like "Dumb ***"

You will see them fuming and running home to mama. I promise.

From where I sit that could be equally applied to both sides. Too bad you waste so much time attacking and counterattacking each other while the great American Ship of Dreams slowly slips beneath the waves. I have no illusions about getting a positive response to this. Common sense and reason are still on vacation and will be until the Godzilla of our nightmares is at the door.

Both sides need to compromise. However there is no compromise available when only one side is willing. At this rate, the mean nuggets (repubs) will take this country down trying to force their will on a duly elected President. All Obama can do is stand up to them ans let them suffer the consequences of their actions.

Just like we are all suffering the consequences of the previous administration's actions? to do that. Ever notice how everybody pulled together during those times and set political differences aside? People were forced to be real in that instant.

If we were talking about a "response to a difference of political opinion", that would be one thing, however, I believe he is talking about responding to the usual verbal abuse, name-calling, and defamation of character that certain posters resort to.
