Why is it important that Ben Carson lied?

There are many supporters of Ben Carson that are spending a lot of time focusing on how the press is paying less attention to Hillary Clinton or Obama’s cabinet and Obama. There isn’t anyone that would argue on either side of the aisle that this administration has been disingenuous, hypocritical. Does anyone remember that Obama claimed that…”this was going to be the most t***sparent administration quote”? One could argue about measuring t***sparency, but with the continued closed door negotiations concerning TPP and the risk it means for our economy: there is no evidence to support that this administration is t***sparent. Is anyone else tired of his lectures and hypocritical tangential "Wizard of Oz" mindset.
Unfortunately, the press has little else to focus on with Ben Carson. He has avoided overt language to support engaging in “exaggerated” claims, but rather sticks to: I don't remember it that way. In fact, the people that have been interviewed, may not know anything. Maybe they weren't even there at the time. They didn't ask any of the people they interviewed to give an account of THEIR time. And proof that they were even valid witnesses.
The facts about his life are if anything, uh; sleep worthy, routine. As one might expect. He’s a doctor not a fighter pilot or an astronaut. After you've seen one brain, you've seen them all.
He served it up to invoke, that we don't have a heroic figure, but a hero in his own mind. We don’t get a lot of recognition for doing our job. In fact, can the media find any patient who was harmed by Ben, nope not anyone; I'm assuming that is true since no one has come forward.
What does come to light is that he suffers like most of us with a case of narcissism, and how does that differ from anyone else seeking the highest political office.
His fans (v**ers) are more concerned with someone who listens to him, he has their voice. Ben is tired of taxes, welfare, and the economy. He’s one of us. He has been successful and this is how it gets done: hard work, devotion to family, church membership, and giving unsolicited advice.
His lies are like telling your wife that she looks the same she did the day you got married or telling people how great your kids are after they spent most of their teenage years angry and defiant.
Am I missing something? Why must we ask rhetorical questions, since we know the answer? Why isn't the media more concerned about Trump or Rubio?
I don't understand why Ben embellished his life, other than, I know that it is probably as boring as most of my life. And most of those embellishments were created to do good, that is, one must rise above bad circumstances…and maybe…someday you can be behind this podium…listening to every word I say.

When did Ben lie, and for what?
The zio MSM protected OB from the start.
Dr Carson exposed the double standard of the zio MSM in this video of questions and answers.
The good doctor does not let them get away with their lies and BS.

...which is my point. I just heard more this morning on the morning news.

Unfortunately, telling the press they haven't found anything will just bring more investigations, heck they will find a teacher that said that he spent his time in the hall in third grade...

Why doesn't the MSM try to find someone who can tell whether or not George Washington told a t***h or lie about the cherry tree? Why make a big deal out of Dr. Ben Carson trying to recollect about something that happened when he was a teenager??? DUH!

Because they fear him,,, like palin....

There is no evidence that he exaggerated anything,, only allegations.....

They attempt to "disprove his honesty" because he has honesty,,, the left does not,, hitlery,, certainly not..

It is the same reason why kkkzero claims everyone else is r****t,,, he does so,,, to justify his own......

I don't believe there is any evidence he lied. We all remember small details differently. Every admission to West Point is a full ride scholarship so that can't be a lie. And he could have conceivably been given a verbal from Westmoreland if he wanted to attend. Especially back then the military wanted more diversity in the officer ranks.

His narcissism is, indeed, big time and centered around his being "good" and doing things that "no other" has or could have done. It is centered also on his religiosity, which is sad, really. One would think that one would be a little less in that regard.

Also, in that regard, his belief that Joseph built the pyramids for grain storage, however, shows a basic disconnect with reality. That is the number one worry as regards to him. It could t***slate into something truly awful coming from the oval office.

Palin. Ok, but in retrospect, no one fears her now. Her true colors are out as well. She'll probably do a t*********r thing soon!

I will say, however, she was a great debater.

Frankly Obama's 20 years of h**e sermons in Rev. Wrights Church were more concerning than anything I have seen from Carson

Indeed you did get that wrong.

What at present is the current state of respect for Palin? Do you think she'll be invited back into the game?

I know a few things about Palin. She was perhaps smeared by media more than anyone I can remember. They even went through her trash cans. One left wing wacko rented the house next door to harass her.
