Managing

Has anybody noticed there are six sections on OPP. Five of the sections have one admin/manager; however, one requires three people. Hmm...somewhat like how that section wishes the government to perform, i.e. three people for one simple job.

No, Chit Chat seems to only need management by a single individual, as does Main, Introduction, Faith, Religion/Spirituality. Perhaps if you Lean Left, you need more support for your leaning.
   8-)

They are just weak. They can't seem to support arguments, their position, or themselves. They crave something, or someone to blame their woes on constantly.
It is the evil, conservative right wingers who want to take everything away from them!!
Those evil right wingers feel the same about them. The only difference is that the evil right wingers WORKED for what they have to lose!

I wonder what would happen if the worker/producers went to barter, cash, etc. How would they survive?

You left a few things out here.
I am also a sexist, homophobe, Islamaphobe, and according to Loki, some kind of tuberphobe because I don't like turnips!

When we go to the barter system, they will lose their minds! All they know is 'Take Care of ME'!!

At least you are consistently phobic. :-) :-) :-)

Try them in homemade vegetable soup. Hmmmm...good. I, also, had them as an appetizer, in NC, pickled in a garlic flavor.

A while ago the IRS and Virginia Taxation Department were attempting to deal with barter, as income. In Northern Virginia, people are bartering rent, food, cleaning, etc. Example, you have a two bedroom abode. You can afford the rent but h**e cleaning and/or cooking. You advertise. Someone needs an abode, but cannot afford rent. They barter to clean, cook and manage errands in exchange for living quarters. The tax people want to tax your services at the rate you would be paid for performing those services for an employer. They, also, want your barterer to pay a tax, as if you were an employee. It was unsuccessful to the great chagrin of the progressives.

How do you think the Gov. means to keep it's promise of "more jobs", stimulate the economy, or something silly like that? Remember how water follows the path of least resistance? Well, guess who's brains are as weak as water ( if their ears weren't plugged with so much self congratulatory chatter - their brains would have drained away already )

Really? OK. I'm a simple guy, so bear with me here. If I leave my place for a couple of days, and buy the neighbor a round bale in return for her coming over, and checking on my horse; it should be taxed both ways? The feed for the animals has already been taxed once!
I h**e to mention it, but we return the favor...and get to collect the eggs.(they have chickens) Maybe we can trade out for the taxes??
Oh! Wait! We are talking about the progressive government aren't we?

You need to pay taxes on what the usual cost of hiring someone would be. They have to pay taxes on what would be the usual payment in monetary terms. Geez, you cannot c***t the government. Hey, send them some hay and your neighbor can send eggs.

She owes FICA taxes on your feeding and gathering. You owe taxes on those eggs.

There is an individual in our neighborhood who is unemployed. They perform work; however, not for wages. They have the neighbor they do work for pay a utility bill, or help with groceries, gas, etc. I had them clear some overgrown shrubs, took a grocery list from them and bought the groceries. My next door neighbor had her deck power washed and paid two utility bills. Their spouse makes sufficient to cover the mortgage.

If I swap spit with my wife...
It would seem that waking up in the morning is taxing anymore! I guess I'll try it again tomorrow!
