Sadly I do not know how it began. I first heard about it via a complaining piece about NAFTA.

At that time only a few leaks about its contents were repeated. I wish I had that information because in my view it was by a well known conservative writer who I sometimes agree with.. George Will perhaps but I truly can not recall..

What upset me then was the secrecy of developing the trade agreement. Nothing at all disclosed, not even to congress. Only the corporations and trade ministers from various nations were involved and they all had huge agenda for their own bottom line. It is a tool for the literal rule by corporate biz and nothing for the good of the middle class..

I have not yet looked at the released documents but I doubt anything major has been changed..
