The nominee will be a Cuban-American...take that to the bank. Jeb is about finished, and eventually Trump and Carson will fade. Trump will eventually do himself in (mainly because he gives no specifics), and Carson is just too soft spoken and too much of a nice guy to survive in any debate with the Queen of dirty politics. JMHO

It's down to Cruz or Rubio. We will see. You are right about Trump and Carson except I think their outrageous statements at times will be the end for them

Rubio is perceived as more moderate than Cruz, even though I'm not sure it is actually true. That will be to his benefit at some point, he is "electable" whereas no independent will v**e for Cruz, and moderate Republicans will not turn out for him.

Of course, Rubio is more 'moderate' than Cruz inasmuch as he is a proponent of both amnesty and Common Core. And, you are quite possibly correct in that 'moderates', AKA Rino's, won't v**e for Cruz because he is a staunch Conservative who believes very strongly in the Constitution. I think some Independents and most Rino's would rather see a third Obama term under Hitlery than v**e for a Conservative.

Yes, I think you are correct, and there are far more Dems, Rinos and Independents than conservatives. That's why Cruz can't win and the GOP will never nominate him. You risk losing 35 states and the coattails in the Senate and House.
