carpenter, In one way I admire the countries for taking in refugees from Syria. It shows they are a compassionate people. The problem is that they are from a very different culture.I don't believe that they will assimilate into Scandinavian society easily, if at all. The danger is that Swedes may find themselves strangers in their own country.

I wonder how the European countries can do that. I don't believe that they have a defense budget anywhere near our own proportionately. What i***ts preferring free education rather than going to war for ten years or more.

Sorry, I had just read two posts about Sweden and BS by him. Some of the comments were absolutely naive. Sweden can not afford the influx of refugees as we can't. BS is a whole different story; I'm not sure Elizabeth Warren isn't his daughter.
