I dont know,,, a lot of folks,,,, will drive through the reservation,,,, and seeing me,,,, and the color of my skin,,, are a little intimidated,,, but they by and large are enthralled,,, and absolutely desirous of talking about our culture and heritage,,,, they REALLY want to know about us,, and be friendly,,,,, if you are friendly TO them,,, you have a friend for life....
I have taken a lot of people "in" in that matter,,,, and have been very pleased at the welcoming and generosity they show,,, as well as the appreciation..
Any "Militance" on our part, shuts them down,,,, and that is never good,,, we need more friends,,,,, and I think that 75% of the people I meet and speak with,,, would throw down and go to war "with" us,,,,, rather than against us,,, especially as they get to know us.....
That "color consciousness" is also a good thing,,, like christianity, islam, or even atheism,,,, it is WHAT you do with it,,, that makes it bad or good,,,,in others eyes

There isn't a difference ( the v****g thing ), that was the point. Making a decision based on color/ethnicity, is still r****m - no matter how you dress it up.
America is still r****ts and always will be, because that's just how we are. "Americas first black President" seems like an innocuous statement, but the mere fact that his color was mentioned as a qualifier - makes it a r****t statement - and no one sees anything wrong with it.
Hoping for a Nation that doesn't see color, ethnicity or former Nationality - is a pipedream - there's just too much history and resentment for that.
