I think it's not so much a threat but a plea for Americans to wake up to what Israel and Z*****m has done to our country.

Your Wiki page on Norris's boyfriend actually paints him as a larger than life activist whose activities have inspired at least two movies about him. Being gay is something a person is born with. It is not a valid reason for condemnation.

From the Wiki article about Nawi:

"Nawi's story has been recounted in two documentary films. In 2005, Canadian-Jewish filmmaker Elle Flanders made a documentary entitled Zero Degree of Separation, which intertwined the story of her family in Jerusalem, for whom Ezra Nawi once worked as a gardener, with the lives of two gay couples, one of which was Nawi and his companion. In 2007, a further film about Nawi's life and work, 'Citizen Nawi' (HaEzrach Nawi) directed by Nissim Mossek and produced by Sharon Schaveet, premiered at the Jerusalem Film Festival, where it won a special jury mention. The film documents the plight of the Bedouin, the difficulties of Israeli-Palestinian relations, the hardships of being gay. Made over five years on a shoe-string budget, it was judged a somewhat messy docu by Variety film critic Leslie Felperin, who thought its director "too in love with its subject to ask tough questions". Yet, he added, it managed "to expose both Israeli and Arab bigotry and has its heart in the right liberal place". Raya Morag sees the film as basically about deep-seated Israeli homophobia and r****m. Dan DiLandro, reviewing for Educational Media Reviews , wrote that the film had a number of evident problems, technical and narrative, yet judged it "an important work that shed light on many of the area’s conflicts and dynamics". Michael Fox, writing for Jweekly, finds 'Citizen Nawi' to be "a rough-hewn profile in courage that diligently tallies the cost of conscience", and writes of the "discomfiting power" of a "raw and occasionally wrenching film", which stirs a "certain cognitive dissonance" when one "sees Nawi threatened and insulted in the crudest terms by religious Jewish settlers and embraced as a trusted friend by a Palestinian family living in a tent". For Fox, as the film follows Nawi's travails with his lover, run-ins with the police, and battles with settlers, it suddenly jolts one out of the initial impression that Nawi's activism has liberal roots:-

"One just assumes that Nawi has always been a liberal, and that his treks to the West Bank reflect a longstanding empathy for the Palestinians. It comes as a shock when he remarks well into the film that he wasn't particularly aware of or concerned about their day-to-day hardships until he got involved with Fuad".

Nawi's instincts, Fox concludes, are those of the humanist, and the director Mossek's gutsiest move was to have made "a film that doesn't aim to inspire us with platitudes but instead tries to shock us with the hard business of building a road to peace".

Nawi's example has also influenced the Israeli film-maker Ra’anan Alexandrowicz."

I would think that your Honorable senator lacks some basic creditability when he chooses to marry a guy who rapes 15 year old boys... not to mention incites racial violence... This proves bias toward d*****t behavior... Not very honorable or credible in my world fella... I'll pass on that movie

payne, What Israel has done for our country is all positive in the extreme. From some of the most amazing electronic inventions to incredible medical progress in nearly every field. In the security field they have shared intelligence on jihadist terror organizations, and other mid east dictators. They made sure the Suez Canal was closed during Nam, and that made it much more difficult for the USSR to supply North Viet Nam. No way of telling how many American grunts were saved.
Israeli scientists , and statesmen have won more Nobel Prizes than any other country in the world when the tiny population of Israel is taken into account.
Compare that to the Arab states. All they have done is brought a new era of terror to the world.

Z*****t trolls of your ilk always seek to assassinate the character of anyone who dares to tell the t***h about Israel.
You can't refute the t***h that is being exposed, so you attack the messenger's character instead. Intelligent readers will see through your tactics.

Senator Norris has bias toward justice and humanity, similar to these famous Jews:

Sigmund Freud:

"I concede with sorrow that the baseless fanaticism of our people is in part to be blamed for the awakening of Arab distrust. I can raise no sympathy at all for the misdirected piety which t***sforms a piece of a Herodian wall into a national relic, thereby offending the feelings of the natives."

Albert Einstein:

"The (Israeli) state idea is not according to my heart. I cannot understand why it is needed. It is connected with many difficulties and a narrow-mindedness. I believe it is bad."

Erich Fromm, social psychologist:

"The claim of the Jews to the Land of Israel cannot be a realistic political claim. If all nations would suddenly claim territories in which their forefathers lived two thousand years ago, this world would be a madhouse."

Primo Levi, writer and Auschwitz survivor:

"Everyone has their Jews. For the Israelis they are the Palestinians."

Marek Edelman, last surviving leader of the 1943 Warsaw uprising:

Edelman wrote a letter in support of the Palestine resistance, comparing them to ZOB, the Jewish fighters in Warsaw. He opened with, "Commanders of the Palestine military, paramilitary and partisan operations - to all the soldiers of the Palestine fighting organisations."

Isaac Asimov, novelist:

"I find myself in the odd position of not being a Z*****t ... I think it is wrong for anyone to feel that there is anything special about any one heritage of wh**ever kind. It is delightful to have the human heritage exist in a thousand varieties, for it makes for greater interest, but as soon as one variety is thought to be more important than another, the groundwork is laid for destroying them all."

Hannah Arendt, political scientist:

"The trouble is that Z*****m has often thought and said that the evil of antisemitism was necessary for the good of the Jewish people. In the words of a well-known Z*****t in a letter to me discussing the original Z*****t argumentation: 'The antisemites want to get rid of the Jews, the Jewish State wants to receive them, a perfect match.' "

I.F. Stone, US journalist:

"Israel is creating a kind of moral schizophrenia in world Jewry. In the outside world the welfare of Jewry depends on the maintenance of secular, non-racial, pluralistic societies. In Israel, Jewry finds itself defending a society in which mixed marriages cannot be legalized, in which the ideal is racial and exclusionist."

Noam Chomsky:

"In the Occupied Territories, what Israel is doing is much worse than apartheid. To call it apartheid is a gift to Israel, at least if by "apartheid" you mean South African-style apartheid. What's happening in the Occupied Territories is much worse."

Gabriel Kolko, one of the leading historians on modern warfare:

"The large majority of Israelis are not in the least Jewish in the cultural sense, are scarcely socialist in any sense, and daily life and the way people live is no different in Israel than it is in Chicago or Amsterdam. There is simply no rational reason that justifies the state's creation."

Miriam Margolyes, actor:

"The black South Africans asked for our support and now it's the Palestinians who are asking for our support. I h**e what Israel is doing over there to the Palestinians. I think that boycotting is a very active and non-violent way of protesting."

Uri Avnery, ex-Israeli army officer:

Avnery wrote that after an Israeli military victory, "What will be seared into the consciousness of the world will be the image of Israel as a blood-stained monster, ready at any moment to commit war crimes and not prepared to abide by any moral restraints."

Henry Siegman, Rabbi and director of the U.S./Middle East Project:

"Israel has crossed the threshold from ‘the only democracy in the Middle East' to the only apartheid regime in the Western world."

Richard Cohen, US columnist:

"The greatest mistake Israel could make at the moment is to forget that Israel itself is a mistake … the idea of creating a nation of European Jews in an area of Arab Muslims (and some Christians) has produced a century of warfare and terrorism of the sort we are seeing now. Israel fights Hezbollah in the north and Hamas in the south, but its most formidable enemy is history itself."

Roseanne Barr, US comedian, writer, director, p**********l candidate:

"I am s**k of Israel and I am s**k of Z*****ts. They are propped up by evangelical Christians who cannot wait for the Arabs to k**l them so that their genocidal war god whom they misname Jesus can come back."

Rabbi Michael Lerner, editor of Tikkun Magazine:

"If a Jew today goes into any synagogue in the U.S. or around the world and says, 'I don't believe in God or Torah and I don't follow the commandments,' most will still welcome you in and urge you to become involved. But say, 'I don't support the State of Israel,' and you are likely to be labeled a 'self-hating Jew' or anti-Semite, scorned and dismissed."

Richard Falk, the former UN special rapporteur on human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories:

Falk has called Israeli policies in the Occupied Territories "a crime against humanity." Falk also has compared Israel's treatment of the Palestinians to the N**i treatment of the Jews. Falk has said, "I think the Palestinians stand out as the most victimized people in the world."

This outline of the history of Z*****m in Israel shows that Z*****m and Israel have always been a catalyst for war and terrorism.

payne, Jews often disagree with each other. As the saying goes, if you have ten Jews in a room, you will get at least fifteen different opinions on any subject. I notice that there is rarely if ever a difference of opinion among Palestinians. That is because if a different opinion is known that contradicts Hamas or the PA there are heavy duty consequences to pay. , the dissenting person is lined up against a wall and shot.
