Antarctic sea ice has grown to a record large extent for a second straight year, baffling scientists seeking to understand why this ice is expanding rather than shrinking in a warming world.

On Saturday, the ice extent reached 19.51 million square kilometers, according to data posted on the National Snow and Ice Data Center Web site. That number bested record high levels set earlier this month and in 2012 (of 19.48 million square kilometers). Records date back to October 1978.

Since we have already proven Gore a liar (see below) -- allow me to go onto another direction.

While it is true that you can develop electric energy by using both solar and wind the environmental non-thinkers are left out in the cold once the sun goes down or the wind stops blowing.

What? They forgot all the batteries and voltage converters (inverters) to store and then deliver the produced energy.

Consider.... If you plugged those same batteries into battery chargers, then when you had a power failure everything would work the same as if you stored generated power from any other sources.

Have you thought about the pollution and energy used to create all facets of solar or wind? Have you really?

So easy for environmental terrorist to whine about what they know so little. Do a little research into the core elements of storage batteries... I dare you... I double dog dare you!!!!! (See simple storage battery compartment in third attachment.

Now, on the other hand... Hydro, coal, natural gas and nuclear provide dependable energy for a heck of a lot less money.. (out of your own pocket too) and the supply has no horizon that can be seen by our number crunchers. Even if there is a end to cheep energy, you can bet your last cell phone our capitalist scientist will have developed or discovered more even cheaper and less polluting supply.l

So.... Are our leaders this dumb, or do they have a trick or two up their sleeves.

Yes, among other things, they were less than full disclosure of the facts and it was a few deg. F. warmer than now than during the medieval warm period.
