From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. Psalm 3:8
Thoughts on Today's Verse....
God is The Great Deliverer! That's his chosen expertise. Whether it was delivering the Israelites through the Red Sea from Pharaoh's army ages ago, or it is rescuing a sinner from sin and death through Christ today, our God is The Great Deliverer! So let's use today to repeatedly pray for people who need God's deliverance from sin, death, disease, family conflict, addiction, financial concerns, legal matters, mental illness, abuse, and temptation.
My Prayer...
Holy and Righteous Father, please deliver the friends who are on my heart, and whose names I place before you now. Please release them from their bondage and deliver them into a time of blessing, comfort, and assurance of your abiding presence. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Matthew 24:7-9 There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. All these are the beginning of birth pains. Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be h**ed by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and h**e each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
The major earthquake for the US (predicted by Wilkerson) has not come yet - BUT we know, God has perfect timing. I believe it may come when government forces think they are set to crush us. Surprise attack from on High.
We have had it too easy, pain is coming, and it will sort the chaff from the wheat.

In sorting through some mail, I read this and thought it was just cute - it gave me a smile, maybe it will do the same for you:
Today a man knocked on my door and asked for a small donation towards the local swimming pool.
Being short of cash, I did the next best thing, I gave him a whole quart of water.

What shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin. As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one ..."
Romans 3:9-10
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Paul is driving home the point in Romans 3 that none of us can even approximate the perfection and holiness of God. So how do we get there? How do we escape the stranglehold of sin? God's answer is Jesus! I believe that must be our answer, too!
