TUESDAY PRAYER NEEDS - 10/20/15

GOOD NEWS

Armageddun and I have both heard from cant believe. He's happy to know the Prayer Group is still up and running - so come join us. John is out of the hospital, but it appears he does not have strong lungs so let's keep them in prayer. Cant believe has a new tablet and hopes to rejoin us, along with saying "Hello" to all.

No propaganda please gives special praise and thanks to God for granting exceptional ability to his ophthalmologist. He has realized greatly improved sight.

No propaganda please said he has talked to David and Pete, and that both are doing well in school. David is still having major trust problems, but is a little better each week. He is starting to read and discuss the Bible, and it brings him comfort. The NPP's feel God has blessed them with having this opportunity to know both boys, and to offer some assistance towards their healing.

Slatten was in Austin last week for a visit with his son and family. He also attended his granddaughter's fall exhibition softball games in San Marcos. Here's hoping her team won, Slats.

We praise the good Lord for all who are healthy and well, and thank Him for His mercy and bounty.

NEEDS

Searching has not been heard from for some time. I don't know if her absence has to do with storm damage they had receive when there was flooding and high winds in her area, or if she's having computer problems - at any rate, let's keep them in prayer.

NanaSue is having many difficulties, moving, getting all papers filed for her husband's unemployment, and other finances. She has been told by others, that the type of stoke Tim had sometimes corrects itself, to a degree. The brain is the most complex organ in the body, and has the capabilities to 'rewire' itself around damaged areas. Please keep Tim in prayer that the Lord has blessed Tim's brain to be able to do that, and in the process restore him (as nearly as possible) to his old self.

Slatten lost one of his buddies, from the War, on the 4th of October, due to pulmonary and cardiac problems. Let us keep Slats and this man's family in our prayers. They had known each other since serving in Viet Nam during 1968 near the DMZ. Too many memories come back, and they only add pain to the sad occasion of losing a friend.
Slatten's sister-in-law has begun chemotherapy treatments for advanced lupus this week, this too, weighs heavy on his mind.
Barbara and Manny seem to be stable with their conditions, all others are doing as well as can be expected. Christopher is about the same.

Alabuck's wife has a sinus infection - they ARE painful, please keep her in prayer.
His right hip replacement is scheduled for November 3rd, keep him in prayer that all goes as well with this hip as it did with his left hip. Thank You, Lord for taking care of that.
His brother and wife have been allowed to maintain regular visits with their granddaughter. All of them thank God for this blessing. There has been absolutely no word about the granddaughter's half sister, who was born drug addicted. Please keep this tiny baby in prayer.

No propaganda please asks that we keep Gapamen in prayer while she is healing from her back surgery, She is in need of our love and prayers. Her daughter has had some other problems which we need to pray the Lord will help her heal from the emotional turmoil she is experiencing. They are living with friends and in serious financial straits. Please reach out with uplifting prayers, and PM to express your love, and concern.
Rufus is among the missing. Pray that God will give him the strength to remain clean and sober, a lifelong struggle for all who are addicted to bad behavior. The only good addiction is the addiction to Jesus Christ and doing good deeds in His name.
NPP also received a very ugly message from someone who disagreed with him, here on OPP. If you are aware of this, do defend our fellow Christian. I recommend he forward that message to Administration and ask if that type of language is considered normal discourse. If it is, maybe all of us should look for a different site.

Roxy's surgery has been postponed for the time being. She needs our prayers as she has spells of considerable pain.

Missinglink's brother-in-law has passed away. Let us keep his sister, and all family members in prayer.

LindaJoy's Aunt Nancy continues to hang on, she has cancer and is being cared for by Hospice. The pain for the family is extremely wearing, keep all in prayer.

RockKnutne would like prayer for his precious sister, and prayer for his back problems.

Loki is another who suffers from back problems.

Docadhoc has a personal health need for healing post surgery, and thanks all for their prayers.

Grugore has been missing for some time, keep him in prayer.

We have a couple of fellows looking for the right companion. God truly blesses us when we have a compatible partner.

Drugs are a scourge of our generation, drugs or alcohol, don't give up on prayer for anyone you know who is in need. All families who are affected by either of these factors, can use our prayers.

Be with our troops, particularly the ones facing enemy forces. Keep them safe, and keep them and their families in Your care. We pray in Jesus name, thanking You, and praising You.

Keep our churches on message Lord, the message of the Bible and let their 'business' side take care of itself. Their real business is to lead Your flock, have it be with the truth. They have come under fire, Lord. Now is the time, for pastors to take a stand and ALL Christians to equally stand with them. Let us NOT bow to POLITICAL CORRECTNESS and deny what Your Word says. We have now seen the killings of professed Christians, Lord continue to bless us with the courage to stand up for you - we will need it.

If the Lord doesn't answer your prayer right away, don't be a quitter, continue to stand on His Word, and continue to thank Him for your healing, and for the answer to your prayer. DON'T GIVE UP. continue to praise the Lord!

Also, remember, if you receive a word for someone, never just slough it off, it just may bring comfort to them.

Lord, first we ask that You forgive us our sins, next we ask that You come into our lives and touch us. Touch us Lord with Your healing hand, increase patience and fortitude where needed, increase our faith to know You are there, to know You hear us, and You care. Thank You, Lord for watching over each of us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Try to find a reason to laugh, or least smile each day - it's medicine for the soul. If for no other reason, you can smile because Jesus loves you - just as you are.[/quote]

ADDENDUM TO THE PRAYER NEEDS

I have heard from Searching. Her mother passed away, and Searching, although you may have been expecting it, it is never easy. Our prayers are with you and your family. May the good Lord ease your pain more and more each day. I know you will think of her often, may all your memories by good ones that bring you comfort. We ask in Jesus name, Amen.

ADDENDUM TO THE PRAYER NEEDS AND A TESTIMONY

Docadhoc has let me know that his healing is progressing slowly, unfortunately, he is suffering a bout with the flu. He has a positive attitude though, as he mentioned the old saying, "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". Then he added "pretty soon I should be able to leap tall buildings at a single bound." With that attitude, you are BOUND to recover quickly.

Armageddun informs me, that his dear wife has been suffering with back problems. It does seem, if your back hurts - you hurt all over. She did undergo a CAT scan, and has been prescribed muscle relaxers and pain pills. They are trusting "the great Physician will heal her in His time and according to His Will." We are praying and trusting for the same results for your dear wife.

Dear Lord, we add two more for Your precious care, trusting that You will heal them. We thank You, Lord, for Your love, mercy, and care, in Jesus name we pray. Amen

Now, I am adding my testimony - I've been praying the Lord will heal my knee. I'm alone most of the time, so I talk to Him, and yesterday we discussed my knee. He told me, it is healed, you have to accept that rather than keep asking for what you have. Right away, I noticed the difference when I walked. Put it in your mind that you HAVE received what you have asked for. That sounds easier than what it is - we have been taught REASON not FAITH. To believe in faith, requires overcoming, that takes more time than it takes Him to heal you, take my word for it.

May our good Lord bless all of us with Faith that overcomes Reason, in Jesus name I ask. Amen
