Man, your rants are becoming delusional...you need some real professional help...please seek some.

Blocked by the Democrats...can't overcome the 60 v**es threshold. Can't get past the presidents veto. So, we have grid lock, which I currently like. If you nitwits on the left cared so much about jobs, and improving the economy, you would have done something about it when you controlled all three legs (presidency, House, and senate) during the first two years of Obama's reign! But, no, your party did not care about that, instead they pushed through a $850B stimulus package that was nothing more than a pay-off to the unions and Democrat cronies as a reward for getting Obama elected. Then there was the horrendous Obamacare that you l*****t morons crammed down our throat, which we will see the real impact to the budget and national debt that makes in 2017...it was backloaded on purpose. So, who is the dickhead, dickhead?

Why not do a little research as to what that $750 billion actually paid for you fu$kng moron. Look it up ass hole

Man, you are far more ignorant than I thought...I have done the research, pal. And, you might try researching in some sources other than the grocery store tabloids...the stimulus package was just exactly as I said...a pay off to democrat cronies and the unions. Every job created was a temporary job, and cost something like $276,000 per job...it was a joke. But, then you l*****t i***ts don't have a clue about how to measure or handle money, and you never saw an entitlement that you didn't like, just some reasons why your side has ran up close to a $19T national debt. And, 71% of the national budget is entitlements and servicing the debt. And, many of you morons support Sanders who will add something like $18T to the debt! You're an absolute i***t turdnest, and a liar. Now, go crawl back under your rock.

Here's your stimulus ass wipe...

"Everyone except flacks for the White House knows that the 2009 stimulus package failed miserably to produce the promised results," Lindsey wrote. "But even if you buy the White House's argument that the $800 billion package created 3 million jobs, that works out to $266,000 per job. Taxing or borrowing $266,000 from the private sector to create a single job is simply not a cost effective way of putting America back to work. The long-term debt burden of that $266,000 swamps any benefit that the single job created might provide."

As time passes, the math on Obama's stimulus plan gets worse — even if you accept the most optimistic analysis of how many jobs it has created.

In February, the Congressional Budget Office published its latest report on the "estimated impact" of the stimulus. Although it had originally estimated the stimulus would cost $787 billion, CBO now says it will cost $831 billion.

In the second quarter of 2012, CBO estimates, somewhere between 200,000 to 1.2 million people have jobs they otherwise would not have were it not for the stimulus. Assuming, optimistically, that the number is 1.2 million, that means each of those jobs cost taxpayers $692,500.

As time goes on, the maximum number of jobs sustained by Obama's stimulus will decline rapidly. By the first quarter of 2013, it will sustain between 100,000 and 600,000 jobs, says CBO. If it is 600,000, each of those jobs will have cost taxpayers $1,385,000. By the fourth quarter of 2013, the maximum number of jobs it sustains will be 400,000 — at a cost to taxpayers of $2,077,500 per job.

Working guy,

As usual the right wingers fail to see the picture. The stimulus was not ever meant to be a short term fix.. Near half the money went to highways and bridges, long term infrastructure that returns conintue for decades.

Half went to working class tax cuts.. Remember those? I bet you b***hed like hell when those cuts ended... Right wingers called the ending a tax increase... To prove their own stupidity it would seem..

Part of a report from PBS, I think, anyway read it and try to think...

Half of the total fiscal support for the economy, or about $689 billion, from the recovery act and subsequent measures was in the form of tax cuts directed mostly at families. The remainder was spent on such things as rebuilding roads and bridges, preventing teacher layoffs and providing temporary help for people who lost their jobs or needed other assistance because of the poor economy.

The report said recovery act spending will have a positive effect on long-run growth, boost the economy’s potential output and ultimately offset much of the law’s initial cost.

More than 40,000 miles of roads and more than 2,700 bridges have been upgraded, nearly 700 drinking water systems serving more than 48 million people have been brought into compliance with federal clean water standards and high-speed Internet was introduced to about 20,000 community institutions.

“While these figures are substantial, they still nevertheless understate the full magnitude of the administration’s response to the crisis,” Furman wrote.

He noted that the report focused solely on the effects of fiscal legislation. It did not evaluate other administration policies that aided the recovery, such as stabilizing the financial system, rescuing the auto industry and supporting the housing sector.
