What dehumanizing, insulting, insensitive, etc statement about Muslims is there which could be used against him? The only persons who can see generalized compliments about a group of people (Muslims, Mormons, Republicans, wh**ever) as negative are those who believe that such a group should never be complimented. That a couple of thousand of white male Americans murdered somebody in 2012 does not mean all white male Americans are just like those oddballs. The same is true of the huge population of Muslims (or Mormon or Republicans). Populations are not defined by their lunatics.

You're right. Sounds cruel. But then, nature is cruel, not kind, and all of us love nature. Nature suffers no weakling, suffers no aberration kindly. I wonder how many truly understand the priorities in emergency responding, especially catastrophic emergency? It is easy to see it as cruel, but saving liveable lives is top priority - unless they've changed the policies, and they probably have. Some of us believe nature knows best. Some people sing the praises of nature, but want to try to change it. If at all possible people will succeed in mucking up nature just like they muck up so many other things they should have kept their hands off of.
