G****l c*****g was never accepted scientific hypothesis. Take a look in the library databases (University level), you'll find nothing. It was only something that Time or Newsweek picked up on that was found to be incorrect. Do a little research (just a little) and you will easily confirm what I just said. That is why you stick with peer review publications.

Greenhouse gases have been rising steadily and that is a fact. Global mean temperatures have been rising steadily and that is a fact. I have heard nothing about mining causing shifts in tectonic plates and earth quakes. I know they think small-scale local tremors may be associated with fracking in some cases, but have not yet found proof of it. You are right that volcanoes can result in massive injections of greenhouse gases and aerosols into the atmosphere. The super-volcanoes (like the one in Yellowstone) would have a huge impact.

The increase in solar activity accounts for less than 10% in the enhanced greenhouse effect. Sunspots occur that change the output a little in fairly regular cycles that are well known - SCIENTISTS actually discovered this quite a while ago. These are know and accounted for, along with volcanic activity, but they do not explain the increase in mean global temperature we have experienced to date. Human emissions do.

Ok..Even in your short (in a geologic sense) lifetime, have you not noticed that winters are warmer than when you were a kid? That forest fires are more common, storms are worse, that pictures of Memorial Day ceremonies from right after the civil war show budding trees, and today the trees are totally leafed out on Memorial Day. Animal habitats are changing, Glaciers are mostly retreating, although some are advancing, on average they are losing ice at an incredible pace. You need to listen to scientists on this subject, NOT talk show hosts or oil company executives. This is very serious. This month's National Geographic is on this subject, and is an interesting (if very sobering) read. The gulf of Mexico at the end of the next century is going to be near Fayetteville, AK. Florida, which is mostly built on limestone and very porous, is pretty much a lost cause. The Miami professor who was consulted for the article said he was looking for a g****l w*****g denier to buy his house. You are being used as a tool by the energy companies to spread doubt so they do not need to mitigate the damage caused by burning f****l f**ls. Al Gore is not a scientist. e is not an "expert" on the subject of g****l w*****g relative to climatologists who are educated in the field and have researched the subject. He is a politician and a spokesman to increase awareness of the subject. If your panties are in a wad because Al Gore has drawn attention to the subject, ignore him and look at NASA, the USGS, NOAA the National Academy of Sciences, or any other scientific organization. The all say the same thing. i know believing in conspiracy theories is 'in vogue' in the conservative part of the GOP, but common, this is stupid even for the ultra-conservatives!

I do not notice that winters are warmer now than they were when I was a kid. I can remember cycles when they were, but I can also remember cycles when they weren't. I can remember when the river that flowed through my home town would freeze solid for a couple of winters, then would not freeze at all for several more winters. The first time I can remember it freezing solid was around 1947 or 1948. Then it froze solid again around 1956, and the following year. I was gone from there until 1984, and it froze that winter of 1984-1985. Other years it was rather warm and we had relatively little snow. So I cannot say that there is any set pattern as far as the weather being warmer now than it was many years ago when I was a child. But weren't record cold temps recorded for the Eastern part of the U.S. the last 3 or 4 years? Wasn't that when Mr. Gore and his cohorts decided they had better start calling it" c*****e c****e" instead of "g****l w*****g?"

How can you say, without any doubt, that this is true? How can anyone say for a certainty that earth is warming to a danger level when we are still having near record cold temperatures scattered over the world. And if one would only remember the 1940's- 50's and early 60's when every American city was nothing but a smoke-hole of pollution so bad that when one drove through them at mid-day, they had to operate their windshield wipers to see to drive. Check and see how many times the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, Ohio actually caught fire and burned. And how lake Erie was considered a dead lake because only Carp and other rough fish could live in it's polluted waters. Check and see how many years all the major rivers on the East Coast were so polluted that they were thought to be lost as anything but a waterway for riverboats and barges.

No, I do not believe in g****l w*****g as some would have us believe to line their pockets with the almighty dollar. Just check and see how much money your great liar Al Gore has made by using this scare tactic and anyone should see the purpose behind this charade.
