Do you celebrate Easter with eggs hid in the grass or along rocks. What a holiday, the fallen one has cunningly devised a lie that is hidden from the eyes of those who cannot see. The worst part about it is that children are led by parents and neighbors without the understanding knowledge. I'm sure God is aware of these sinful deeds. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vane deceit after the traditions of men or women.
The queen of heaven " eastre" or "astarte" is a heathen term, eastre is the teutonic goddess of fertility in spring goes back to the groves in 2 Kings. Rolling eggs and quick as a bunny are the trademark of Easter which is a false and people who knowingly participate are against God, just like knowingly buying stolen property. It's the same as if all their sins are on your hands. Why do we insist on not studying the word of God to understand the difference of good and evil. In a prior post "Abortions or killing children in the Old Testament" adds the other part on why the queen of heaven "Easter" is worshipped. Jer 44:15-22.

The goddess Asherah is called the "queen of heaven" and was supposed to be the wife of God. Jesus was never resurrected, that was supposed to happen on the mount of Olives. Zechariah 14:4. Christians have a convoluted theology and they believe in multiple resurrections. Earth is called the "land of the living". God will be incarnated on earth, will be executed, but will return and reign on earth forever.

"Cold...colder...getting warmer...warmer...getting hot..." When I hunted for an Easter basket as a child, it was not to honor some pagan Goddess but chocolate. My parents, devout Christians, were just giving their kids a fun game and great treat. Same at Halloween. No evil intended or found. FUN! That's it. But remember this: Jesus said, "...even in your thoughts." If your thoughts are of "eastre" or "astarte" or other pagan ideas, it is you who have sinned by your standard.

In Mexico, "paschal is Passover" and are correct in keeping with the correct Bible term. In the USA easter is only one time in the bible and is an incorrect translation, a tradition of man. I'm sure you got the first rain that God sent but the latter rain is what you mind needs to continue to grow your knowledge in His word. When you were a child you thought as such, now that you're mature, you need the inclination to want to honor God with all you heart,mind, body and soul. I don't participate in Easter as I did in my youth, but now that I'm older with the latter rain that God has sent me, I didn't want to cause my children to continue "the Easter" that is not Biblical. Jesus said? Yes He did say many things, like "I have foretold you all things", it's the Bible till He comes back, so study to be shown approved, a work woman that need no correction...

Jesus would marvel at you lack of knowledge because only two times was the word "marvel" spoken by Him, one for the centurion's great faith and another time for his deciples lack of it. All hallowed eve. To give tribute to evil with candy-treat or with a trick.. Another deception and to carry on in like fashion. The next day is All Saints Day, we don't do Halloween, but the next day is All Saints Day. I'd rather support Nov 1 for the saints then Halloween that is a "trick or treat", a reed in the wind, people go by way of the world, just another example on how people are blind. In Isaiah 28:10 for precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. This is God saying you have no Christian teacher to learn from, and that people will go with the flow..like the proverbial reed (people) that go with traditions of men.

Nobody has taught me what I believe. Most of my theology is original and I only read the KJV. Not even the Masoretic text does justice to the scriptures. The KJV is consistent and is remarkably accurate. I have seen myriads of scripture/prophecy literally fulfilled and I am confident the rest will also be fulfilled. When the Messiah comes, there will be no need to write another book. It's already been written.

If you take into consideration all the people who have been born comes up to about 12 billion. And only one third will be saved. In Daniel 7:10 it's the Great White Judgement,thousand thousands ministered unto Him, these are Gods saved Christians. In Zechariah 14:12 is when we are changed into our spiritual bodies, in the twinkling of an eye, remember a day is a thousand years. People when they see their flesh body and marvel at the sight will observe for a while, 1000 years is 12000 months, and if my math is correct 3 days a second and 6 days is 1 and a quarter second. That's why you will see the flesh eyes consume away in the holes of the skull, because you'll be in your spirit body.

Law-keeping is the "Childish things we are to put away" according to Paul. To "become as a little child" was one of three imperatives for salvation stated by Jesus. Have you become as a little child? Do you know what that means? It means that the law (and the Bible) is not greater than life in Christ.

You are obsessed, it seems, by the minutia of law, like the Pharisees. You do not know what is in people's hearts; only God does. You cannot judge these actions. Bringing to light the true origins of these practices is good but that does not indict those who may still engage in such practices. Jesus says in Revelation that eating the meat sacrificed to pagan gods is always wrong. Paul says its okay as long as you do not offend the immature in faith. Who was right? Is there room for interpretation? If Paul is wrong here, does that end any thought of Bible inerrancy?

I am reminded of a story about two monks. They belong to a strict ascetic community. One day the two were journeying to another community to bring some messages and happened to come upon the crossing of a river where a woman stood on the bank fearful of its current but in desperate need to cross to join her husband and children awaiting her.

A major rule of that community was not to associate with or have physical contact with females. One of the monks put his head down and started to wade across. The other monk went up to the woman and offered to carry her across, which he did. For miles afterwards, the monk who believed he had righteously followed the proper protocol of their order could not stop thinking of the terrible breach of the rules by his companion, actually touching a woman. Finally he could no longer contain himself. "Brother, do you know that you have sinned by engaging and actually touching that woman's flesh? How could you?" The other monk embraced his brother and said, "Friend, I put her down after fording that fifty foot river; you have carried her for miles."

Milk for Children, meat for the adult. The word is pregnant. The law is in the Old Testament and Jesus said I have not come to change the law but to fulfill it, not one tiddle that means a dot, period. We are suppose to be as little children, to enter heaven. The meat sacrificed doesn't mean a thing as long as you have faith so you won't offend the beginner in Christ. No I don't follow stories, if you could keep with the Scriptures instead of going into stories,that would be acceptable to me. You can look / help a woman thats not sinful, it when you lust that's the same as adultery.
