Of course, the language is just a bit off color so if you can't stand that it is best you stop reading on this thread now. I had to laugh at every exchange, especially the ones from "Gran Torino" that he said in protecting his Asian neighbors once he stopped hating them.

You are welcome and I don't plan to stop listening to that one because I dearly loved his delivery and still do. His voice got a little gravelly but he still delivers things so well.

After 20 yrs i got my wife to watch his spaghetti westerns she always mocked me for watching.....now i catch her watching them solo.
Eastwood is a hero in my book, always a good movie from him.

Since he started out as a cowboy on TV I wasn't sure about him later in those like "Play Misty for Me" and he was great in that one and all the Dirty Harry ones after that. I really believe that I liked him better in "Gran Torino" as an old man than any of the others. I really liked him in his "Empty Chair" thing in 2012 and he didn't say one nasty word in it.

It is just too bad that he got too old to play those rowdy western type parts, but he just keeps plugging along.

I wonder how many left leaners were among the 289 people who have opened this thread up to now. They sure wouldn't say anything since they all remember his Empty Chair speech in 2012.

Eastwood is every bit as good a director/producer as he is an actor. I can't remember a movie of his I didn't like. But, IMO, he did himself a disservice at the convention with his empty chair soliloquy.

Who do you think wrote the script for that finely acted bit about the empty that wants to rule the nation so bad? I think he did some great stuff there and maybe some of the many people that have taken care of his work since that time were conservatives who finally saw daylight showing through Obama and his plans.
