I do suppose that some people will dismiss this study into the truths of the Bible, according to when Jesus Christ was conceived and born. Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth were praying for a child. When Zechariah was performing his priest duties in the course of Abia, and while burning incense to the Lord, the whole multitude was praying, the Angel Gaberiel appeared unto Zechariah and told his that Elizabeth was going to bear him a son and to call him John. After those days Elizabeth conceived. According to the courses of the duties appointed to the priests, it was approximately June 25 and in the sixth month, December 25, the Angel Gaberiel was sent by God to the city of Nazareth to bring good news to the Virgin Mary. he said to Mary, Hail, thou art highly favored, the Lord is with thee; behold thou shalt conceived in thy womb, and bring forth a Son and shall call Him Jesus, ( Emanual - God with us ). The Angel also said behold thy cousin Elizabeth has conceived a son in her old age, this was the sixth month with Elizabeth. On this month of December 25 Jesus Christ was conceived and nine months later He was born, September 25. In was summer because the shepherds were in the field tending their flocks, Luke 2:8. While He wasn't born on Dec. 25, we still celebrate his conception in the flesh being in the womb. Aren't we glad that they didn't kill her or Him. This is also verified in the Old Testament in Isaiah 7:14.

I try so, thanks.
I have met far too many people like you. Most care not a wit about their neighbor. They, like the pharisees, diligently study scripture and forget the least of these.
December 25th is pure invention by the Roman Catholic Church, and the rest falls square in the middle of disputable questions or of very little relevance.

Little reverence, like I said before, you don't study so you don't know squat about anything. These words from the bible were written for your correction, but you're a stiffnecked person with itching ears, keep on the "broad highway to hell" because when you wake up on the Seventh Trump, it will be too late. But we don't want you in Gods heaven, only if God wills it.

There is one major problem here. The dates. The Gregorian calendar was introduced by Pope Gregory in 1582AD. All the months and days in the Bible are based on the ancient Hebrew calendar. And, it isn't even close to either the Julian or Gregorian calendars.

One has to wonder, if you profess to a Christlike life, why are you so belligerent, even hostile. Jesus rather frowned on bullies.

Your right on the months and days because the Bible goes by solar days from the equinox. Even though the date are approx. the conception of John the Baptist was on or about the 23rd Silvan = June 24. The Begetting of the Lord was on or about 1 Tabeth = Dec 25th. The Birth of John the Baptist was on or about 4 -7 Nisan = March 25 - 28th. The birth of Jesus Christ was on or about 15th Tisri = Sept. 29th. It's all been broken down by Christian Scholars, and those are the only ones that anyone should allow to post research as to not lead people astray, from the Book that God gave us.

The Biblical calendar is based on the lunar cycle, not the solar. The Biblical New Year begins on Tishrei 1 which comes in either September or October. (Sept. 4th this year, and on Oct 3, 2016) There is no month called "Tabeth" or "Silvan". There is however the month of Tevet and Sivan.
Many Christians do not realize the importance of the Biblical calendar, either because they know nothing about it, think it is only a Jewish thing, or fail to study it in any depth. And since many Christians reject all things Jewish (or Hebrew), they will not give much, if any, regard to the work of Messianic rabbis.
Messianic rabbis have put forth an excellent argument for the date Jesus Christ was born--Nissan 1 (Rosh Chodesh). April 9, 2016 is Nissan 1. This is in the spring and, in the old Hebrew days, was the Season of the Lambs. This is when the shepherds watched their flocks looking out for the new born lambs. Was Jesus not seen as the Lamb of God when He was born?
I rather doubt that Christian scholars are superior in the knowledge of Biblical instruction than are the Messianic rabbis, particularly with much of the Old Testament. Christians generally have difficulty with that. Their focus is dominated by events in the New Testament.
I have been studying Messianic Hebrew perspectives on the Old Testament (and the New), including the Biblical calendar, for almost two years now, and this study has opened up an entirely new level of understanding. Not only has it clarified much of the life of Jesus, but has been a wonderful, even mind-blowing, education in the events and prophesies in the OT. This has truly taken my faith in Jesus to new levels.

According to the Jewish reckoning, the Tebeth was twenty days, Sebat 30, Adar 29, Nisan 30, Zif 29, Sivan 30, Thammuz 29, Ab 30, Elul 29, Ethanim 15 this makes up 280 days. This time covers from Dec. to Sept. 29. 40 weeks is needed for human gestation in the womb. These Component numbers of 280 ( 7X5X8 ) are significant. Numbers mean something in Gods mind, 7 is Spiritual Perfection, 5 is Devine Grace and 8 is new beginnings, Resurrection, Regeneration.

My correction and my teaching does not come from the Bible, and if you really knew what is written in the NT, the same would be true for you. The Bible is not part of the trinity; it points, directs, us to Christ. That's it! It is not to be adored as a "final authority." We live by grace and the Holy Spirit, not ink and paper.

Scripture is from the Inspiration of God. It's from God mind to yours. If you don't reference the Bible, how can you study and learn, oh that right you don't do the Bible. Don't bother if you don't want to study with me. Jesus said "I have foretold you all things. Question, where did Cain get his wife?

The measurement of a Hebrew month is the time it takes for the moon to go through a lunar cycle--about 29.5 days. The Hebrew lunar year is 254 days, and every two or three years an extra month is added.

Introduction to the Jewish calendarThe spring equanox is when the sun would go through the temple and shine at a certain item. That is solar, that where the farmers Almanic gets its information. Why would God want to use the moon for keeping time. The solstice is the same thing as the equanox and the must accurate.

Read the New Testament with an open heart and mind. The Pharisees diligently studied the scriptures and were both blind to love of neighbor and Christ. Christ, not scripture (obviously). is the Way, Truth, and Life.
