I had the same tour 65-69 my question is why no sun rises or sun sets seemed to me to be the most beautiful I ever saw ? was that because we lived to see them ?
I also went into Vietnam,in 1956,I went on an LST,( but I was Army) delivered a LST load of MAP (military aid pact) ammo,To Saigon.ROUGHEST TRIP,I ever made, those LST sailors had it tough, those flat bottomed boats, didnt cut the waves, they slammed thru them.
