We got skunked in NE Florida. Heavy rain and cloud cover totally obscured the moon. Bummer. I had my cameras ready to go but to no avail. Next one won't be until 2033. Doubt if I will be around to witness that. Double bummer. :(

I live on the east coast north of Cape Canaveral, and we were clouded over also! I was very disappointed in not getting to view the eclipse too. Oh, well. Life happens.

Same here. Scouted out what I thought would be a great location Saturday night. Checked cameras, lenses, tripod, batteries, and memory cards. And sat and watched it rain. :roll:

It was partly cloudy in northern middleTennessee, but when I took the dog out to pee at about nine fifteen, I noticed the huge red orb clearing the scuddy clouds. It was just beginning to finish up as there was a thin yellow crescent coming out of the shadow. I found it rapturously beautiful!

Dog finished. I watched for a while til clouds obscured it again. Nice.

Who the Hell are you referring to? A few members were disappointed with the weather conditions but it's not like a matter of life and death. You've gone overboard with your comment. You sound like a total asshole. :evil:

Well that makes three of us. Ormond Beach, Fl..couldn't see squat. REALLY disappointing! I hope some of you come up with some pictures!

I am an adult! I am not a little baby and sissy who complains that he did not get a chance to use his toy camera to take a picture of the eclipse of the moon. THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE like getting his nation movng in the right direction so that we all can live in freedom amd liberty and be able to pass something to our children and grandchildren.

Some people are determined to be miserable and want the rest of us to join them. I'm in political discussions/arguments here everyday as well as other political forums. Like I said. Sometimes it nice to take a break.

When you start taking responsbility for this great nation and start changing things for the better, you can play with your little toys. You might be able to pass a few of your photographs you took with your playthings and pass them down to your descendents. They say the only difference between a Baby, who has toys like a camera, and an Adult is the price of the items.
